You've been told but you won't listen. Boat arrivals have the highest proportion of successful refugee claims. They are much, much more likely to be genuine than any other form of application with rates as high as 85% - 95%

It's not an "easy touch", that's a slight to the hard working men and women on our immigration frontline. You should be ashamed of yourself. The stats were the same during the Howard era, it is just a fact of life, people in danger are more prepared to take risks than people who aren't. And no amount of hand waving or twisting definitions to suit your purpose will change that.
