That is a brave admission of shallowness.

Perhaps you should watch it again to see what you missed.

Oh, crikey, I didn't waste my time watching any of the drivel.

I just think it's quite significant that Israel's ambassador to the USA is from the USA. Is this a regular thing? Is the US ambassador to Pakistan actually a from Pakistan? Was the Australian ambassador to the UK born and raised in Bedford?

I'm intrigued by one aspect of your initial post. the rest wasn't anything I cared to invest any time in.

"Never Again"

Antisemitism on the rise in the world...Once again the world looks to blame Israel and Jews for the woes of the world...but this time Israel is not a powerless people...

A Comment on United Nations List of Terrorist Acts....

Micah Avni, son of Richard Lakin, who was murdered in a Palestinian terror attack in October 2015, speaking at UN Human Rights Council in Geneva: "Killing civilians on a bus IS terror. I challenge you [the high commissioner of the UN Human Rights Council] to specifically condemn the murder of my father, Richard Lakin. I challenge you to condemn President Abbas for calling the murderer of my father 'a martyr' and for his hateful incitement to violence."

... There is no equivalence: the illegal occupation of Palestinian lands (as declared by the UN) and the oppression of the people with regular armed patrols of soldiers in their streets, and the massive bombardment of Gaza resulting in wholesale destruction and hundreds of deaths of women and children, and the continued blockade of medicines and materials for reconstruction which followed, are criminal actions sanctioned by the state you paint in glowing terms of admiration.

Tisk.

Israel is, as you say, no paragon of virtue, in addition has practiced state terrorism, and has a rich history of official corruption. This places Israel in the same spot as, oh, say, the UK or US. Israel's neighbors have a rather less brilliant track record, and are worth a rather less "glowing" report.

Translation: before you dump on/praise any country, set a standard for comparison, or it is all crap. Oh, and as for the novel observation that homo lupus hominem, there is no surprise there, either.

Now, my standard for comparison is the degree of real - if always imperfect - support for human rights and democratic governance in terms of law, policy, and action. On that score, Israel remains in the same company as before, still with all its warts intact, of course. Its neighbors remain quite on the other end of the spectrum, worthy of a much, much larger share of scorn. It's all relative, but there is a scale along which to measure, making such vicious takedowns of Israel transparently silly and maliciously out of context.

I'll take my chances with the assumption. A Jewish Israeli may go through some process to apply to the government to have the Hebrew date removed from their ID Card. Possibly they have a desire to be treated like an Arab when they have to present their card?

And how are Israeli-Arabs treated when they present their ID cards?

Recycling Waste-water back into circulation

After years of being told to conserve 'every drop of water', Israel now has plenty of it.
How so?

Battling water shortage since its inception, Israel is now a world leader in recycling wastewater - 85 percent of its domestic wastewater is being recycled and used for agriculture, with Spain next at 19 percent.

With many countries suffering from water shortage, Israel is keen to share its knowledge and technology.

As Obama prepares to betray Israel at the UN, this is Bibi’s response

As his term runs down, US President Barack Obama plans to make one more attempt to push Israel to the cliff’s edge. According to a report from the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Obama’s last-ditch effort to force Israeli-‘Palestinian’ ‘peace’ negotiations is likely to include a UN Security Council resolution which would impose a framework for a deal on Israel and ramp up the international pressure on the Jewish State. Without calling the President out by name, this is PM Netanyahu’s response to the Presidents latest plan to isolate Israel.

Israel - The Middle Easts only democracy.

"Why would anyone think that the UN could decide on a fair and secure peace for Israel?"

"If the International Community really wants to advance peace it must demand that the Palestinians stop poisoning the minds of their children."

"If the International Community wants to advance peace it must address the true core of the conflict - the persistent Palestinian refusal to accept a Jewish State in any boarders."

"I am confident that over time the trend of embracing Israel will overcome the trend of maligning Israel because ultimately Freedom beats tyranny...and ultimately, when vigorously defended, Truth beats lies."

"Israel will defend Herself vigorously against all those who seek to destroy us."

Innovative water solutions ...

"Years of water scarcity and drought forced Israel to come up with innovative ways to conserve, recycle and desalinate water.
Today, as a world leader in cutting edge desalination technology and with the world's largest desalination plant, Israel actually enjoys a water surplus.
Did you know? 60% of Israel's tap water comes from desalinated water."
