Ronson writes about the Bohemian Grove incident in 'Them', and it's pretty good reading - him and AJ both got into the Grove separately and witnessed the same thing. Jon Ronson thought it was a pretty much frat-boy level messing about, AJ saw some massive conspiracy and satanic rituals.

Right when he begins to yap you can hear that awkward silence.
Sort of like when your crazy relative arrives at the part and starts to tell inappropriate stories.
This video is a classic train wreck...you just cant look away!!
 
ugggggg another 8 minutes of my life wasted on A.J. ranting. Its like the most beautiful train wreck ever.

I was not the least bit surprised to hear a healthy dose of homophobia in his threats to the gentleman in the front row. If I am not mistaken he told him that if you don't believe what he, A.J., says you will end up a gay sex slave in a FEMA camp.

While watching it I could only think of getting up and leaving had I been there. However, I would probably be drunk so heckling is most likely what would happen. Just start hooting like an owl or "tell us about the JOOS!!!!"
 
I bet AJ would have loved to wear a pillowcase over his head if he could.
 
You know at the same time i want to see this i am conflicted about spending more of my life on " an alex jones production" i have seen almost everything this intellectual changeling has put out and not only does it bore me to tears it makes me scream " WHAT WOULD A FAKE LOOK LIKE, IF THIS A-HOLE IS REAL!" in my head the entire time.
 
So i just watched that ....thing.... i guess. This further enforces my theory that Ct'ers are like christians, what i get from my friends who are into it, are just the absolute cream of the crap and the stuff i don't see is where the real insanity takes place.

One of my favorite parts is when he calls the guy a coward and then dosn't let him say his piece, and uses the audience to silence him completely. Just look at that look of " god i am powerfull" when he does it.

How does this man convince intellegent people? I don't understand it, i can't say my friends who believe in him are " stupid" by any means. But i just don't understand how this collection of random catch phrases convinces anyone.

This is one of the things that ultimately turned me away from most talk radio. I was a big Rush listener, and when Hannity first got on the radio I would listen to him too.. and Michael Levin.

So many times, when someone calls who disagrees, they start to talk over them, and certainly never let them finish their point. Now many times I sensed that the point in question was stupid anyhow. But not always. It's those times when you actually do know something more about the subject than the host, and you hear him browbeating someone, you realize that these aren't the people you thought they were.

It's like a rude awakening. It proves to you suddenly that they will just bluster about how they feel regardless of right or wrong. You know for certain they are wrong on this issue, and yet they are just blathering over people and ridiculing points.

But they have the same power as Jones did there. They cut you off, rant at you, and then hang up on you with the last word coming from them. I really believe that they start to then believe their own hype and nonsense. After all, no one "successfully" challenges it. Ivory towers of their own.

Coming to this forum made me learn to listen more, and think about things more. That's for sure.
 
Alex jones kills me, main reason being i never see him in civil, ordered structured debate. Ever, any time i have seen him talking to anyone who opposes him it turns into him just screaming louder and louder.

I mean i can understand hating a heckler, i am an actor myself ( just like jones, lol). And preforming live takes concentration, but in all honesty, if i walked into a comedy club and suddenly alex jones started rambling on. I would do the same thing. I assume the people there paid for comedy, not political ramblings that could be loosely classified as preformance art.

He wants to talk about protests, and his right to be a turd in the punchbowl, and the first thing he does when someone makes a rudely stated though valid point, is simply yell over then and start calling them names.

Whomever that person was i will stand by their statement, " Alex Jones Killed My Buzz" and if i could find a t-shirt with the statement on it, i would be purchasing it asap.
 
I really hope some day the guy who yelled that will stumble into the jref forums. I would like to electronically shake his hand.

I mean the guy could have just called him a **use your imagination** but instead he managed to state the situation as clearly and as specifically as he could. Funniest thing was while i was watching this i had a nice " buzz" going. And about 2 minutes before the heckler ( which i hate to call this guy. It would be like calling robin hood a thief, lol. ) decided to do his thing i was thinking " thanks Alex Jones you just killed my buzz".

I mean i can watch Sylvia Browne, Peter Popoff, John edwards , et al. And have a good laugh, a few intoxicating substances, and have a good time laughing at them. But this guy is just so hatefull, and basic, its not even fun to watch him make an ass out of himself. I just want to go where he is ( regardless of time and space) and start pointing out how wrong he is to him.

I was going to make a joke about what he would have said to me if i did find him, but any parody i could do of this man will make him sound better, so i am just going to leave it to the lil Alex Jones in all our heads to say what he would think of me.
