Alex Jones Promises War in Three Months

"I see two or more countries involved in a conflict that may or may not involve violence. They are within 12,000 miles of each other. One country is larger than the other, or both are the same size. There is water near by. The last name of one of the leaders starts with a vowel. Or a consonant. Did I mention the water?"

I consider myself a bit of a 'conspiracy theorist' but who in hell actually gives that idiot money? I'm baffled.

Reference to AJ btw!

What I've always loved about these "high-profile" woos is their self-perpetuating egomania.

If something bad happens as they [vaguely] predict, they can point to it and say "I told you so! They're all out to enslave/poison/kill us!"
If nothing bad happens, they can tell you, "Ha! We've exposed those bastards and now their plans are foiled!"

It's the perfect, air-tight propaganda model... so long as nobody contaminates it with facts or logic.

Well, the prediction is actually being made by Ahmadinejad, who according to Alex Jones has announced the US will attack two countries in the Middle East in the next three months. Alex Jones uses the term "military strikes".

And Press TV also says something like that too:

http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=136359&sectionid=351020101

So, can we hold them to this? If there aren't two hot new hot wars in the Middle East started by the US in the next three months then Alex Jones and Ahmadinejad must lose some of their vast stock of credibility.

Oh, and apparently Madsen and Tarpley have also said the same thing.

(And as a side note, Alex Jones' pronunciation of Ahmadinejad and Pyongyang is simply painful!)

Two and a half of these three months have passed.

Any troop movements yet?

Er...no, July actually.:D

Well, that's why I picked this one as it actually gave a deadline so there's no way of them wriggling out of it.

It's ironic (or hypocritical) that Alex Jones likes to talk abuot Western leaders using the media to stoke up fear when that's his number one bestselling product and his customers keep buying it no matter how many duds they've been sold in the past.

We've no doubt gone over this ground a hundred times before so there's no reason to think anyone will care about the latest prediction fail.

Is there anywhere we can keep a track of these?

Your use of the word "promise" was the same kind of inaccurate, sensationalist, jargon Alex Jones uses. Could you point to the exact time in the youtube video where he "promises" war, please?

Didn't even know about this. Then again, hasn't AJ been predicting imminent war with Iran for about six years now?

3:00-3:10, favourably quoting Ahmadinejad saying they'll attack within 3 months, 4:11, Alex himself saying they ARE planning an attack. That sounds like a promise to me.

Oh, and then there's the headline that Alex&Co chose to use on their own video, "Ahmadinejad: US Expansion Of War In Middle East Imminent! - Alex Jones Tv".

sounds like promise to you like a warning from Ahmedinijad sounds like confirmation to Alex.

Both of you, wrapped in your own personal biases, willing to twist words to sensationalize.

What?

I don't really understand what you're babbling about. Alex Jones is clearly stoking up the fear with his OMG! Two Hot Wars in the Middle East coming soon! announcement. If it doesn't mean that then it doesn't mean anything.

Iran's Press TV also said:

"We have precise information that the Americans have devised a plot, according to which they seek to launch a psychological war on Iran," Ahmadinejad stated in an exclusive interview with Press TV on Monday.

"They plan to attack at least two countries in the region within the next three months," he added.

How is that not a promise of two wars in the Middle East within the next three months?

And no, Alex Jones wasn't merely reporting the words of Ahmadinejad he was, without any qualification accepting Ahmadinejad's words at face value and then adding his own corroborating "evidence" and agreement from Madsen and Tarpley.

The fact that you can view the video and not see Alex telling us that War is coming (whoops - it never did - GASP) shows that you really are just hearing what you want to hear.

It wasn't a promise. It was a code red on the WW III alert chart. Same color it always is for Alex Jones.

I'll try again:
You have to stretch a bit to hear promise.

And of course, lets be clear, he certainly never uses any words as distinct as "promise" or "guarantee".
He really doesn't. He is a little too slick for that.

Go to prison planet on any give day and read any story on there, or watch Alex's show (Well try to, I can't make it through much of it) and jot down whatever he says. In 6 months, look what you jotted down. Cross off anything that hasn't happened yet. Throw away piece of paper since you have crossed everything off the list. Repeat.

The problem is to determine what conspiracy inside all those conspiracies are actually real.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist at all, but I leave things open because I love to research everything and find the truths behind the issues, which most people miss.

There is the truth however, that not ALL conspiracies are false, most are yes... I would go as high and say 99.9% of conspiracies are eventually proven untrue... BUT there has been a few that turned out to be true!

I doubt that AJ will reveal the truth anytime soon. He is just a "shock jock".
