Robert David Steele of the Earth Intelligence Network (http://robertdavidsteele.com/) "The Truth at Any Cost Lowers All Other Costs", has appeared on the Alex Jones show to present his claim that for the past twenty years NASA has been kidnapping children and shipping them to a slave colony on Mars, using their labor and harvesting them for blood and bone marrow.

Well, until that last I wondered why didn't I get to go on this trip?

Sorry, is this the same NASA that can't even get to the moon?

I seem to notice a rather low post count for a 2007 vintage. Sure you weren't, indeed, kidnapped? How can you tell you're back? What if you're plugged into a matrix up there? Just think of the percentage leap in your post count if you tackle any of these urgent and pressing issues. Almost like being in low grav!

Steele has an interesting grip on reality, albeit slender.

He claims on his page that he was recommended for the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize cycle. Turns out that this involves the editor of an obscure but important sounding website recommending to a Norwegian minister that he should be nominated. To my mind this is not the same thing at all.

I am hugely impressed by the number of acronyms his 'work' generates, which reminds me a lot of the UFO and then religious cult charlatan Strabismus in James A Michener's novelised history 'Space'. Strabismus relied on a good acronym and a gullible public to make lots of money. Steele also seems good at that, and its amazing how many opportunities he affords to hand over money for personalised greetings and the like.

Can't seem to find anything about his Mars fantasies though - any clues to save me swimming through pages of bilge?

Blood and bone marrow? They're running a restaurant on Mars?

Yeah, the same low-grade morons who listen to that miserable conspiracy pimp Jones are the same crowd who claim Apollo was a hoax because of the "Van Halen" belts, but will slobber over this idiot claiming NASA operates entire human colonies on Mars. He belongs in a rubber room, Jones belongs in jail, his listeners belong in remedial kindergarten.

Sad to say, a great many people who might laugh at Jones fall for crackpot conspiracy crap if it is presented with a bit more sophistication.

Dang it, at least they haven't discovered the worm-holes pedophiles have built into the back rooms over every pizza parlor in the US that take kids directly to Mars...

...did I say that out loud?:D

I have a feeling that the only babies abducted by NASA will be from the families who listen to Alex Jones so this might work out ...

No offspring.

Is there anyone on planet earth who is more stupid than Alex Jones?

Yes a large number of the people who seem to believe what he says. I know there are people that listen to him for the comedy value too.

That brings up an interesting question about how many people believe his act? About as many as who think professional wrestling is a sport?

I remember taking a bike ride about a decade ago and listening to an episode of Alex's insanity. Larry in Idaho called in wanting to talk to Alex about how he was going to be inheriting a lot of money and he wanted to donate it to Ron Paul. And Alex, instead of acting thrilled (or jealous), started quizzing the guy:

AJ: "Haven't you faxed those to me? I've gotten a bunch of stuff from you. What is it, fourteen million dollars or something?"

Larry: "No, no, it's $18.5 million, my uncle was killed in a plane wreck."

At this point I started laughing my ass off, startling the other people on the bike path with me. Alex blew the guy off the line rather promptly, and after a commercial break, came back with this:

AJ: "You know, I just talked to that nice fellow, Larry in Idaho, he called back in and got back in, and it was what I thought, he's going to tell me about Nigeria and he didn't believe me that the emails you get from Nigeria and you send them a couple thousand bucks and you're going to get $18.5 million and you call them back and they say send more and you're going to get it and if people won't listen, I just can't help it anymore."

Alex wants the sheep; he just resents it when they come to him already shorn.

Oddly enough, I heard this kidnapped children on Mars story on BBC Radio 4 this morning! They were obviously very short of subjects for the 'Today' programme today!

Sorry, do you think cranks have any requirement of consistency?

They are consistently inconsistent, though.

If NASA says they went to the Moon, well, that's obviously a lie, so they must have hoaxed the whole thing.

If NASA says they've only ever sent robotic probes to Mars, well, that's obviously a lie, so they must have entire bases filled with people up there. What sort of people (military, hippies, mutants, child slaves) depends only on the CTist's inherent biases.
