Apparently, the good Alex is under the impression that New York is in the middle of New York State.

The state of New Jersey would suffer far worse than the state of New York.

I visited the Alex Chiu site a while ago using MS IE6 and it installed spyware (CWS variant) and links on my desktop to an online casino.

You'll probably be OK with Firefox/other non IE browser but I'd be careful anyway.

His name was Alexander Abian, he was a distinguished math professor at some university (really), and make no mistake, he wanted the moon BLOWN UP. He ruled.

Unfortunately, he has passed away and now cannot see his ideas carried out to fruition.
 
I should also mention that Abian may have been a "troll."

If that is the case, then he was the best "troll" in the history of the universe.

I never saw him under that name, but I've been reading his stuff for years under the new name Archimedes Plutonium.
