If Osama would announce an attack, I think Obama could lose the election.

It is one of those topics that is so pervasive that it does not need to be expressed, at least in the USA. It is understood, sotto voce.

Yet I disagree with your opinion that such an announcement from OBL would have a negative impact on the Obama candidacy. Most of all because it is manifestly obvious that the current administration refuses to accept counsel from the very best warriors.

To clarify:
A soldier enjoys conflict.
A warrior enjoys the resolution of conflict.

You can take me to task for my (ab)use of language, yet that is what I mean when I assert that this administration has summarily refused to listen to nor heed the advice of some of the best warriors who have ever lived.

Look at the first so-called debate between the two front most candidates for POTUS, and see which one can look straight into the eye of the other.

There is no doubt about who is standing on firm ground, contrasted with who is waving his hand in his own air.
