Now be fair, I was serious.
"Caribou Barbie" has a nice connotation, doesn't it? Barbie isn't a negative thing and everybody likes Caribou.
The alternatives;
- Mooselini
- Godzilla from Wasilla
- Bible Spice
- Pig in Lipstick
- Pontius Palin
- The disasta' from Alaska
- MILFy
Are ALL much less nice. Don't you think?
An extremely hilarious sideshow. Palin is sort of the Homer Simpson of politics: a hapless dunderhead who comically blunders through situations, sometimes winning, sometimes not.Why do all the Liberals get their panties in a bunch about Sara Palin? I seriously see her as nothing more than a sideshow.
Actually, that is good for a laugh. What on Earth is there to be scared of Palin? I think it would be absolutely a riot if she ran in 2012 and made it onto the Republican ticket again.I will give her one thing, she scares the crap of you and that's good for a laugh.
You never will understand. Explained step by step, inch by inch, issue by issue, you won't get it. You're a liberal. Your mind doesn't work like that.
You will never get it. What is seen as common sense, you think is insane. All this works the other way around too.
In the Valley of the Blind, the one eyed man is King. Nobody here seems to have 1 eye. With the exception of me of course.![]()

The defensive responses in this thread are quite illuminating.
You would be better represented by someone more articulate. Admit it. I don't understand why you aren't looking for that someone.

//fark you make it tuff to post a pic here
Possibly... but I'll tell you one thing: nobody in CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, or the New York Times would.
Quote:
"Arrogant&Naive2say man overpwers nature," Palin tweeted.
"Earth saw clmate chnge4 ions;will cont 2 c chnges.R duty2responsbly devlop resorces4humankind/not pollute&destroy;but cant alter naturl chng," the former Republican vice presidential nominee wrote.
What a sensitive flower you must be if you think that was extreme hatred.
Now it's your turn to climb on Whip's ass for thinking a simple nickname is "incredibly" offensive. GO!It's incredibly offensive and sexist.
Pointing out that the stupidity of the response to Palin from the liberals on this forum and elsewhere does not mean that we think she is a good representative.
Because Bush showed them that brains is greatly overrated? There are other politicians, you know. Even hard-right, not unattractive women who would be viable candidates for President. Why this one? Why stick with her, when she makes such a fool of herself time and again?

I never made that inference. Her popularity in the polls among you lot is what leads me to make that conclusion.
Once made, however, this allows me to understand the defensive responses here quite well. It's fascinating.

She is not my lot. Your inference is faulty.
The problem is that you are wrong. Being annoyed by the way that liberals foam at the mouth every time she is mentioned is not the same thing as endorsing her style or views.
Taking this a bit too personally, aren't you?
A very large number of people feel she is a good representative of their political beliefs. Pick up a newspaper. If you aren't among them, good for you.
Never said it was. That's not what interests me. What interests me are, instead, those seeking to make excuses for her conduct. There are many in this thread, and it does indeed speak to an endorsement of her views.
For the record, I am not a "liberal." You might want to rethink your own inferences, wherever they actually come from.
Pointing out that you are wrong about me is not taking it too personally.
So? I am aware of that. I am pointing out that you don't have to be one of her fans to notice the over the top reactions by some of her liberal critics.
No it doesn't. Read Cleon's post in this thread. Cleon is about as far away from endorsing her as you can get and yet he made an 'excuse' 'for her conduct'.
OK. It was the fact you said 'you lot' which made me think you were talking about the right wingers on this forum.
In other words, it isn't very politically correct. The act of calling her Barbie is a complete trivialization of her and her accomplishments. It's exactly the kind of sexist, objectification of a woman that the left usually screams about. Surely you can see that?
The line completely reduces and diminishes her.
