Age and Christianity

Another semi-interesting stat would be how many people who were Christians by default (raised in a Christian home) but rejected it when they could act on their own, versus those from non-Christian backgrounds who converted to it later on.

what ages these people fall into?

The Dark Ages.

The web site, Adherents has a wealth of data on world religions. They don't have a breakdown by age group that I can find, but the Professor gave us a site for that. Adherents does have pages like this: Major Religions of the World Ranked by Number of Adherents which cites
#1 Christianity: 2.1 billion
#2 Islam: 1.5 billion
#3 Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist: 1.1 billion
I've seen the numbers on the site change with time so it appears to have current data. I have not seen the secular numbers this high before. Woohoo!
