They just stuck needles in the Blue Peter dog.

(For those not from the UK, it's a childrens programme and meant to be pretty educational as well as entertaining).

Ah, that extra information was important. I was trying to figure out what a Blue Peter dog was, and was thinking it must be some sort of sexual disfunction or something.

Yes they did. But I was astonished they'd done something this dumb in the first place.

No it just shows that they hate both kids and dogs. Why else would they be showing children that poking needles into their dog will make them feel better?

They poked sharp needles into the Blue Peter dog??? I hope Shep comes back to haunt whoever's responsible.

The Dog's name is Magic. 'Nuff Said. (Ok maybe it was the other one, Lucy).

Edit actually No, Not enough said, That is irresponsible on so many levels! Was it Tim Davies the vet that did it?
I can't find anything on Magics Blog on the BP web site.
Grrr.

Any Blue peter badge holders here feel like sending their badge back in protest? lol.

Extra Edit, Can this be a new meme? When Fonzy "Jumped the Shark" the series was considered to have hit rock bottom and a phrase like "Friends has Jumped the shark" indicates that an entertaining show is no longer good.
Can we start using "Stuck the Dog" for when an 'Educational' venue turns to the woo side?

I wasn't clear whether it was the vet or not. I heard a yelp of disgust from my husband and began to watch from there. My daughter seemed pretty unimpressed by it, but I'd rather they didn't try to fill her head with this crud in the first place.
