According to truther "logic" WTC 7 should have fallen over

According to truthers the 2.5 secs of FFA in WTC 7 indicates explosives. So lets assume this is true: free fall can only be achieved by explosives and therefore for the section of the building that FFA occurred explosives were used.

Here lies the problem. WTC 7 would have fallen over then. As many of us have encountered truthers often point to failed CD's as what should have happened. Failed CD's only have part of their explosives detonate and therefore fall over. If WTC 7 only had a FFA over 8 floors for 2.5 secs, then it would, like a failed CD, fallen over.

Let the mental gymnastics begin!

There are lots of things that can cause problems with explosives initiated controlled demolitions, not just explosives failing to go off. For example, an unnoticed crack caused a recent chimney demolition to fall in the wrong direction. I've seen at least two building demolitions that started to fall, then just stopped because the structure hadn't been sufficiently weakened. Once I've seen the entire structure roll, believe that one was in Turkey IIRC. There's a discovery show, The Detonators, that ran for one season. It sometimes reruns, and it provides great information on explosives initiated controlled demolition. Twoofers just make unwarranted assumptions based on the Hollywood movies they have seen.
