That depends on how you look at it. Although they tried to paint a happy face on it in the end in their own book Kean and Hamilton pretty much describe the report as the best the could do under the circumstances and incomplete at best.

Now given the track record of this administration, all of their failures, miscues, and corruption, the fact that they initially didn’t even want a 9/11 commission to begin with, why are they given the benefit of the doubt when it come to 9/11?

All of those variously embarrassing, revealing, insidious, accidental, or just plain stupid policies or practices are all very well-known and well-documented in (*gasp*) the mainstream press. Secretly-planted thermate "charges" and space lasers didn't make it onto that list because they are fictitious. (The PNAC is a think-tank that put their "secret plans", which have absolutely nothing to do with 9/11 or a guerrilla war in the Middle East, in plain view on the internet. Some "cover-up".)

Accredited journalists usually don't pursue stories that are made up. (And when they do they are caught very quickly.)

To believe that certain people are telling the truth and did their job on and leading up to 9/11 and have nothing to hide. Where's that faith come from? That question has been avoided here like the administration has avoided a real investigation into 9/11.

Do you really have faith or is the 9/11 issue nothing more that an opportunistic way to try and assert you are smarter then some?
