Neither is an abortion.Women still die in pregnancies in which there aren't obvious health concerns. Pregnancy is not risk free even to the healthiest of women.

You've still yet to prove that.I would say the same about a person. A fetus/zygote/embrio is not a person.
I agree.Yes, and they should stop where undue interference with another person's life is involved.
But it is not since you still consider an infant to be a human being even though it is not sapient. It makes a difference because it is one of the factors involved in my opinion.
We agree again? We'll be friends yet, TBK.Of other persons, yes.
Why?THe question is irrelevant.
If it's still in the womb, it is not an individual, sapient being.
There is such a thing as reasonable risk. 1 in 3700 mothers die during childbirth in North America, 1 in 1800 worldwide.Which is, yet, another reason that both should be choices. The woman should have every right to choose which set of risks she wants to endure.
You've still yet to prove that.
Why?

I believe that a zygote is simply a stage in human development. A zygote is just as much a human as an adult is, it is simply in a different stage of development. The only significant ability I see that the zygote has is the ability to develop into an adult. However, I believe that this ability is great enough to consider a zygote a person. Why do you think a zygote is a person?
That got a chuckle. I suppose there is nothing else I can say other than I disagree. I also disagree with your conclusion in the following post. But, I think we've reached an impasse and I don't see anyway to constructively continue the conversation.Location.

I don't expect to convince you of my position, however you asked and I answered.
The final conclusion is that my body is mine and no one elses. And that any "rights" someone else thinks up stop at my nose.
This goes for both sexes of our species.
Is the baby a citizen? And what about the rights of the baby?
Is Pluto a planet? Are heavily handicaped people independant individuals?
Is Pluto a planet?
Answer my question.
And what about the rights of the baby?
Who decided that the foetus is not a person?
Those who decided that a tree is not a person did.
