Abortion and Obamacare

So I'm in a discussion with someone who is under the impression that Obamacare is evil due to the fact that Catholics will have to pay for abortions.

I'm assuming it needs to be twisted some way to actually come to that conclusion, but I'd like some more educated information on it.
Is that 100% accurate? Or typical hot air from the right?

Somehow the world doesn't end in mostly Catholic countries with universal healthcare. Why American would be different I don't know.

No, it says that insurance companies will have to cover contraception.

The controversy over that is that some Catholic hospitals would have to offer health insurance to their employees (many of whom are not Catholic) and so the Catholic hospitals and universities want a special waiver so that the insurance they buy for their employees will not cover anything they disapprove of, even if the employees want that coverage. Imagine the chaos if a big employer could ask for a conscience waiver for whatever they were personally against (blood transfusions? vaccinations?). No, that's a stupid thing to ask for, and thankfully President Obama told them to take a hike.

Obamacare does not pay for or otherwise mandate anything about abortions.

The ACA specifically excluding any funding for abortion was, in fact, required to gain the support of Democratic Representative Bart Stupak and his allies for the bill.
