Hey Bob, could you tell everyone why no one noticed a C-130 dumping a thirty foot bomb loaded with 18000lbs of explosives onto the Pentagon? Why did such a large bomb do relatively little damage given its size?

Maybe you could have one of your experts explain it. John Lear will probably say it was a hologram. Field McConnell will say the Canadians did it.

FYI, IIRC, the minimum delivery altitude/speed for a Mk 82 Slick 500 lb bomb (no drag device) is about 1,000', 480 Kts +. The MOAB is typically delivered from a C-130 from about 10,000'.

And, there WAS a C-130 in that event, ostensibly observing the whole thing, but in fact............. :)
 
Thanks for the video. When I said I have not seen one I meant for real. Video does provide a realistic perspective for bomb explosions.
 
There was also a C-130 at the TWA 800 event.
Coincidence or.........................................???
