So you admit they were doing crime scene investigation the day of the impact? "
that would be the crime scene investigation, correct?
But picking up stuff is only a small part of the crime scene investigation.

The official investigation did not start untill Sept 21 after the rescue and recovery operation. As all sources i have posted state.
But picking up stuff is only a small part of the crime scene investigation.
Then why did you say this?
Picking up stuff IS NOT the official crime scene investigation, only 1 small part.
Picking up stuff IS NOT the official crime scene investigation, only 1 small part.

Released via FOIA by the FBI. Described as: NE485 - One (1) VHS video cassette, labeled "9/11/2001" * Footage of post-crash Pentagon crime scene * Obtained from Chief Mastin, Prince William County
You must be talking about yourself U1, but you are at least getting closer. You at least now admit that "part" of the investigation began on 9/11. Here is a little video taken by Prince William County FD at the scene on 9/11. You'll see all kinds of FBI guys running around and a nice area where the FBI and NTSB are working together (time 8:06) on the evidence you see the FBI guys picking up in the photos previously posted. Looks like a lot of investigating going on for there not to be an investigation going on.
Note: I just uploaded this to YouTube as I wrote this, so if the vid does not show, try back in a few (still processing).
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Searchers on Friday found the flight data and cockpit voice recorders from the hijacked plane that flew into the Pentagon and exploded, Department of Defense officials said.
The two ``black boxes,'' crucial to uncovering details about the doomed flight's last moments, were recovered at about 4 a.m., said Army Lt. Col. George Rhynedance, a Pentagon spokesman.
Rhynedance said the recorders were in the possession of the FBI, and that officials from the National Transportation Safety Board were providing technical assistance in reading any data they contain.
"We have the FBI with us and nobody is touching anything they're not supposed to touch,'' Crawford said. He said that when rescue workers ``see something marked secret or sensitive, we leave it alone.''

Oh is that all the far back you can see?
He is referring to the FBI agent carrying the piece of aircraft wreckage. You know, the FBI agent who is conducting AN INVESTIGATION into the crash at the Pentagon on SEPTEMBER 11.
