[sarcasm] Great, now I have hundreds of pictures to look at. Way to give me plenty of time to do other things.

This photo shows the Archetuthus of Doom. As life arose from the sea, it shall return to it on a date to be announced by Sylvia Browne, when the fountains of the deep shall be opened and we must either go into reverse evolution in a hurry or face annihilation.

Just had a very close look at the photo. The aircraft in the picture was behind the angel. I can just see some smoke from the aircraft that is behind the angel. So it is reasonable that the aircraft did make the angel.

The aircraft is coming towards the camera. Look at shape of the wings. Also I can see the cockpit windows.
 
As an old Air Force guy who's seen this I think you are all underestimating the size of this thing. Yes, the plane is flying towards you, the photographer is further away than you think. Here is the way it went down:

Also, if you put the plane back where the flares are swirling you can get a better idea of scale.

Presumably it's even larger than that, because the plane is closer to us. Do the windtip votices move apart?
