A report tells us

A member at NCH forum sent me the complete detail of a case through private message.

Sometime we see patients whos pathological reports tells us that the patient has no complaints. The USG and X-rays also declare "NAD (Not any disease)" but the patient is in great pain. The doctor sent the patient at home with remarks that he has no disease.

The patient has following symptoms according to homeopathy but according to allopathy he has NAD.

COLIC PAIN-RADIATING,SHOOTING,SPAS ABDO-
COLIC PAIN-UMBILICAL,ABOUT NAVEL ABDO
PAIN-CRAMPING,SLEEP > Abdo
PAIN-SLEEP > Abdo
PAIN-PERIODICAL Abdo
PAIN-URGING TO URINATE,WITH Abdo
PAIN-VIOLENT Abdo

What is your opinion? What can you offer? Go to home? or you will try to treat him?

If it doesn't show up on Xrays or USG, then they are obviously in perfect health.

Perhaps they are in love. I understand it hurts.

I would suggest they take a couple of aspirin and call me the next day.

"Great pain." I'd call that a "complaint."

He has NADs?

I slightly agree with wahrheit. I quote his reply from NCH forum

Dear Japan,

When you do not find anything special in x-ray, USG and Lab reports then obvious cause is "Tension of Abdomen". The hard of the abdomen is due to constipation which is not there or inflammation of the intestine which results in fever and diarrhoea etc.

If you take prime symptom "Tension of abdomen" the Nit acid is a good remedy which also covers other peculiar symtpom like "PAIN-URGING TO URINATE,WITH Abdo". This is a great peculiar symptom and if you find this symptom alone then there is no need of other symptoms. Any way, "cramping and gripping pain around umbilical region" also covers by this remedy.

I recommend in 200. I found good results too in many GIT complaints.

(wahrheit)

I think Plumbum Met in 200 is covering wide variety of symptoms of this patient. It could be due to muscular cramps. If it is not coming in x-ray or ultrasound.

I suspect this is another instance of Qureshi quoting a poster from NCH who is obviously NOT the same person who posts here. Either he can't tell the difference, or he's trolling.

Your call, Qureshi.

You know, it doesn't exactly help your already shot-to-death credibility that your gang makes up fake accounts in the NCH forum pretending to be members of this forum.

Also, if you don't want to just look like a fool, it would be an idea to make sure that that you somehow manage to actually copy the writing style of the poster you're imposting. As it is, this looks like a 7-year old that's tried to make a dollar bill by using crayons. And then you come back here and quote those fake accounts. Could you possibly embarass yourself any more?

I'm betting they can, actually. But they won't understand it when it happens, and if they do, they won't admit it. ;)

Just curious, for what reason do you ask our opinion on this case?

I'm not a medical doctor, but a trainee clinical psychologist, but I'd have to say it's very clear that there's nowhere near enough information there. You can't decide on a treatment plan, even a hypothetical one, with only the information that "patient has abdominal pain, can't see a cause".

I have noticed that someone with the same account name has posted on that thread as "Hydrogen Cyanide"...

To be clear, it is not me.

I never use the same account name on any forum I participate in. At this time I only have four on-line accounts. I used to have five... that was the Ratbag forum where I was "Blue-Bystander"... oh, make that six --- I was "Pacific Parent" on Hpathy, but I only got to post one message before being banned.

Just to clear up one little matter, "NAD" doesn't stand for "not any disease" but for "no abnormality detectable".

A rather different matter.

The reason is, so many times we have seen that allopaths sent the patient with the remarks "Patient has NAD" but patient was screaming due to pain.

What do you offer for this case? A patient is dieing due to pain and doctor (allopath) is saying you have no problem.

I offer a non-medical opinion: you're making it up, just as you are making up having "so many" released patients "screaming in pain."

No charge.

A homeopath lying? Surely, you jest!

What I'm not getting is what you mean about the symptoms:

"symptoms according to homeopathy" as opposed to (what you endearingly term) "allopathy"?? Either the patient complains of symptoms or he doesn't, I have no clue what you mean by "according to homeopathy" he has symptoms, but according to allopathy he doesn't.

You seem to think that real medicine would deny a patient's symptoms because they couldn't immediately find a cause, which is obviously absurd.

Also, as I said, there's nowhere near enough information there for anyone to try to guess what they'd offer this person.

I also sincerely doubt your anecdote about the evil doctors sending away screaming patients, and sincerely doubt that even if this was true, homeopathy could help.

At this stage, if I demand to disclose your identity with qualification then this question would not be irrelevent.

Oh dear, When a child born? who give a name to that child? Yes, father or mother?

Hahnemann is your father (allopaths) because he given the name to allopathy. Allopaths found no irregularity and abnormality in this case as all reports were clear or normal but patient was screaming due to pain. Allopaths sent back the patient at home with remarks that he has no disease. It was the homeopaths who dealt the case and observed so many symptoms in him and prescribed a perfect remedy.

Prove this statement and win a prize.:p

I can also post the same remarks on each of your posts.;)

I have to prove that I was expressing (sarcastic) disbelief at NoZed Avenger's opinion? Or do you want me to prove that homeopaths have lied? And what would be the prize?

I can also post the same remarks on each of your posts.;)
Go right ahead.

NSS stands for National Security Society, or National Speleological Society or National Secular Society but this also means "Non-sense Skeptics";)
