A Petition for Engineers

All,

Recently a Truther on my website posted the following:

Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth has over 1,500 signatories who have gone on record demanding an investigation into 9/11. How many architects and engineers have gone on record stating that they agree with the official explanation offered by NIST and Bazant?

Let's find out.

Even if the ae911Truth signatories were all engineers, 1500 engineers would represent 9/100ths of one percent of all the engineering professionals in the US. Surely the engineering community will be able to dwarf Richard Gage's total. (Surely the civil and structural engineers named Richard will be able to dwarf it.)

The petition reads as follows:

We, the undersigned engineering professionals, are satisfied that the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center collapsed due to fires following plane crashes. We affirm that it is not only possible for a steel framed office building to collapse due to fire, but that fire caused the collapse of Word Trade Center 7. We have confidence in the official engineering reports presented by NIST about the collapses of the Twin Towers and Building Seven. We have confidence in the quality of the investigation into the collapses, the integrity of the findings and the adequacy of the forensic evidence. We reject the hypotheses that any of the buildings were destroyed either by explosives or by incendiary thermitic reactions as they are not only unnecessary for collapse but poorly fit the evidence.

What kind of engineers as well....cause there's a few "landscape architects" on Gag'es petition...

Would a Network Engineer count?

Heck yeah, Oz! I was going to limit to civil or structural engineering, but, no, Gage has all sorts of professions on his. Sure. Go for it. I was going to limit it to Richards, but there is no female form of the name. Feel free to sign it if you're an engineer.

Bob

Considering that there are well over a million of those professions in the US, with more than AE911T has managed to gather entering the workforce each year, and NIST's report on WTC 7 is actually taught in engineering courses around the world and endorsed by ASCE, I'm not sure why an exact count is necessary.

Only for utterly blasting their 1500 number out of the sky. It's to take away an argument from AE for 9/11 Truth. That's it.

Maybe you should make a second list of non-engineering pros that can sign up to disagree. Facebook it to get the word out.

Who is going to check if the signatories are indeed engineers? Just the names don't help us finding that out. Engineers rosters are kept by states, so at least country and US-state should have been included, too. Better yet: license number and state.
