You're right about that. I'm sorry. I must have misread the rules. I thought $10,000 were for the preliminary test. My bad.
Saying that it's Randi's money was just an abbreviated way of saying that the money belongs to his foundation and since he's laid down the rules for the foundation, that of course gives him the right to execute the tests in the way he deems fit. Hence, even though I personally feel allowing someone he's never met to execute a test seems a little lax (if I were in his place I would only probably insist that all tests should be performed in Florida or be performed by well-establised skeptics associations), one must acknowledge that since it's his money, so to speak, he has the right to assign anyone he wants as a tester. Does that clarify it?
