Navigator, the images which Ryan provides in his video cannot be 100% correlated because we can only make do with what material is available.

In the first comparison, the belly livery shows a difference because the 757 Ryan used to comparison is the new United-Continental livery. The old livery is along the same lines. But it comes down to availability of material. There may not be an undershot of a UA767 in the old UA livery, so Ryan had to make do with what he had. I could not find one either, so I had to fire up the Flight Sim - Here.

As for the next image, it's not from United airlines, or a 767. But all airliners have these protrusions for the landing gear assemblies. Again, availability of material means that no UA767 photo was available in that exact position, so Ryan had to use a comparison.

Bare in mind that, unlike the other 3 hijacked aircraft, UA175 never turned off its transponder. It only changed the code it was transmitting. It was tracked on radar by multiple air traffic controllers all the way in. It was also spotted by a couple of aircraft and identified as a United Airlines 767.

Thanks for that cjnewson88. My interests in pursuing this has pretty much waned.

As has been expressed, a few 'nutters' who want to believe and spread these conspiracy theories as facts or even opinions, is not going to affect the world in any major manner, and as I said, I only really started having any interest in 9/11 when my friend commented on it and told me his beliefs.

If he brings it up again I will just tell him I am not interested either way. It makes no difference.

9/11 and subsequent ripple effects are sad. At this time Syria is the next big item.

I am going to tune my guitar and play some songs. The world will do whatever the world does.

Each jet was tracked by RADAR from multiple sites and each was tracked from takeoff to impact. Making the planes stock. Pilots do preflights which included an inspection of the entire aircraft - no cylinders, just lies dumbed down for the CT minded.

Just a bit of info on ROE (Rules of Engagement) pre-9/11 for US military aircraft.

Way back when in the worst days of the Florida drug trade, a proposal was floated w/ the Navy and Air Force concerning the use of military aircraft to shoot down incoming un-identified and un-responsive civilian type aircraft.

Both services wanted no part of it for a bunch of reasons, and that particular tragedy waiting to happen was rejected.

Later on, it has been established that the DEA/CIA involved themselves in identifying suspect aircraft, which would then be forced down or shot down by friendly foreign air assets within the airspace of the country in question.

At the time of the 9/11 attack, there was no SOP or ROE for US aircraft to follow in intercepting civilian or commercial aircraft that would allow the aircraft pilot to engage the aircraft in question with weapons - and even on 9/11 after the first hits on the WTC approval was not quickly forthcoming from NCA - National Command Authority - to allow them to do so.

Any theory on 9/11 that claims a shoot-down of a civilian or commercial aircraft was addressed in then current SOP or ROE is fundementally wrong.
