Once again, a strong wind causes high-rises to sway. This is by design. I'm actually very surprised that you don't know about this.

The swaying is enough to be felt by occupants, but not nearly enough to be picked by the cameras present. The buildings were big. A movement of 5 or 10 feet wouldn't be noticed against the bulk of the building.

Well, that's a clumsy lie. See NCSTAR1-5A, especially Appendix K. Been over this before with that psikeyhackr fellow. Perhaps for his next trick, he'll say he was only talking about WTC 1, where there are only three videos and not enough resolution to say one way or the other, but I've never seen anyone foolish enough to claim WTC 1 wasn't hit by plane while WTC 2 was...

As for a "shockwave," we don't expect one. The impact and the subsequent fireball were both subsonic.

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

Tell me this then on one of your unpredictable flying visits. Why do we see zero resonance or vibration in the 60-odd 1300 foot vertical columns when the plane strikes ? I mean if I slap a guitar the strings visibly vibrate. I know there was cross bracing between the columns but still..? I have super slow motion video if you need it.
 
Hello everyone. I've been away for awhile and haven't done much reading on this forum. I'm just checking in to see if any evidence has been presented in the last few months that would prove 9/11 was a conspiracy. Anything yet...or is there still a lot of tail-chasing going on?

they had a little glimmer of hope with a new paper from Jonesey, but the "science" in it was so poor, so full of confirmation bias, and publish in such a nonsense of a journal, as to render it a small blip, that went, and will go, no where.

Has anyone noticed that the latest crop of truthers here, are, well, "special".

I mean for the 3 years I have posted here on this subject, I have seen a lot of different truthers come and go. Some very angry, some relatively articulate, some clearly socks.

But this group is different from all others I have seen. Most truthers in the past, if you cornered them or caught them in a falsehood or lie, would either (A) admit they were wrong - rarely did this happen, (B) get angry, let out a couple of insults, and leave, or (C) switch the topic to another Canard.

This group, however, seems insanely blissful to it all. It is as if they have fingers in their ears. They spew their crap, and when we clearly show them wrong, or call them on their lies, they just continue, as if we have not said a word. It is strange, but I am damned if I can figure out why, short of GENUINE MENTAL ILLNESS, that they are behaving this way.

We designed motion simulators to determine acceptable levels of wind-induced structure motion. The simulators measured the response of human subjects to lateral motions similar to those anticipated for the two towers. The accumulated data were used to establish the criteria for an acceptable level of the swaying motion of the two towers. ​


A viscoelastic damping system was invented and patented to ameliorate the wind-induced dynamic component of building motion by dissipating much of the energy of that motion . . . acting more or less like shock absorbers in an automobile. With these dampers, we could control the swaying motion without having to use large quantities of structural steel. This was the first time engineered dampers were used to resist the windinduced swaying motion of a building.​

btw, Sibel Edmonds started a blog this monday. I suspect it will not cover 9/11 very much. But everyone who is concerned about rampaging multi-levelled corruption in the US should definately take a look. Please obey the rules (1. Be civil).

There isn't enough resolution in the existing videos of the event. It's like asking why we can't see fine detail in this image of Mars, or why the Hubble can't see the Lunar rover.

But even if you're in the front row of a rock concert, you're not going to see the strings on the lead's guitar vibrate.

They pick the dumbest ideas to spew; is there a 911 lies finding fuction in google? The old false-information squad members are jealous and posting off topic tripe to gain attention.

That is a possibility. It is either that (I ca name a couple of them where this is almost certainly the case), or they are truly mentally ill (I could also name a couple that would fit this bill as well).

Well if the truthers posting on this forum are disinfo, I am unsure why they are here. I mean it is not like they are presenting anything new or more insane then the average truther canards, which I believe what "disinfo" is suppose to do.

I suppose if you look at them as ridiculously stupid/dumb/obnoxious versions of a group, used as strawmen, so to speak, to make the entire movement look worse, then yes, but man that is some awesome paranoia to think that.

PS. billy, the building swayed for quite a bit longer than 4 minutes.

PPS. If you could get rid of all the other factors that would swamp the recording (like wind, seismic activity, people & elevators moving around inside, trucks on the road, etc), the building would also sway back & forth for over 4 minutes if it were hit by a mosquito.

Although the amplitude would be decidedly smaller, the magnitude would be quite easy to measure, too.

The frequency would remain exactly the same, of course.
