Do Screw Loose Change bloggers still spend most of their time having imaginary conversations with imaginary Boris Epstein sockpuppets?

Is it just me, or did the latest suspension seem to quiet things down in here?

Seems almost, well, sane.

Remember, I said almost.

Yes, no doubt, the most prolific truther in recent times, in his absence, has made things a little more reasonable.

Something tells me it won't be long before another takes up the reins.

Hey, I didn't want to bump the actual thread involved since it's over a year old, so I'll put this amusing thing that just happened to me on reddit here instead. You know Spitfire's find from last year that Benjamin and Michael Chertoff could possibly be fourth cousins?

Guess what. Someone on reddit linked me that as proof that Benjamin and Michael Chertoff are related; therefore, vis assumption, Benjamin's Popular Mechanics stuff should be considered discredited neocon propaganda. Probably not what Spitfire was aiming for, but nothing surprises me with how far a truthist will go to validate their own beliefs.

Bumping again to keep things open.

TAM, it is a good idea. Maybe it has helped. Mostly now we've got Metamars railing about leftie betrayals. Darn those splitters.

I am not sure how much it helped, compared to the suspension of Ultima1, but at the very least it seems to be cutting down on nonsense threads a little, and to a degree containing the bickering to this thread.

Yes, and although it could be a coincidence, now you can actually see threads from the past 3 days on the first page of the forum, instead of just today's and maybe yesterday's. (This could also be a sign of of the death throes of the twoof movement.) All in all, though, good stuff.

It's interesting that many posters here seem to believe that it is "truthers" who pull this sub-forum into the gutter. In discussions about 911 on other, non-Conspiracy Theory forums, it is the "debunkers" who provide the vast majority of infantile entertainment with their habitual, school-yard abuse. "Truthers" invariably come across as the reasonable, sane ones in comparison!
