9/11 Conspiracy Road Trip

I honestly wanted to reach through the screen and strangle that Rodney kid. Supposedly being a chemistry graduate student and having absolutely no grasp of the amount of thermite that would be needed, and his religious defense of the extremely flawed Harrit, Jones, et al paper just angered me. How could someone keep saying "ignoring the science" when it's clearly what he's doing? "Published paper"? Argh I wanted to beat him with a stick. Whatever school he's attending needs to have it's curriculum taken a serious look at.

That's a nice idea. If you look back to the Middle ages you see individuals who claim to have "secret knowledge" and to have insights into how things worked, be it the weather, the seasons, disease etc. These individuals often, had tremedous power. If we still lived in the dark ages then perhaps the conspiracy theorists would indeed have the power they crave. Witch doctors and shaman could decieve people, and were probably very skilled at back tracking when proven to be wrong.

Conspiracy theorists are almost always people who find themselves excluded from any position of authority or power. Perhaps inventing "secret knowledge" is an innate human attempt to rectify their powerlessness.

It does make sense, doesn't it? I don't think it's a coincidence that the 'Truth Movement' (a modern conspiracy cult, really) has 'leaders' (evangelists of the Truth Doctrine), who are appointed authority far above their professional qualifications, and who claim to dispense the 'Truth' to the disempowered plebes.
I've often pondered the irony that David Ray Griffin is in fact a genuine theologian, and has thus had training in the area of propagating myths. He has heavily influenced the 'leaders' of 9/11 'Truth', by their own admission.
I'll give him credit, he's good at it, even if he's factually dead wrong in many cases.

Maybe he should start a TV show, 'The 9/11 Truth Hour' where they preach the Gospel of Richard Gage and ask for donations... 'To Save Our Country, Donate Now!' 'Accept the Truth Now, and for only $14.95 per month YOU can be part of America's Healing Force'.

Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't give 'em any ideas.....:cool:

LOL 4 minutes in and he's telling us that the shows producers should have "gone to academia" and then lists Richard Gage, Steven Jones, and David Ray Griffin, then 3-4 British "academics"...and not the Head of the FAA operations center on 9/11, not the Pentagon worker, not the thermite expert....ROFL!

To be fair, this is a point of view bill smith has consistently articulated: anyone appearing to agree with the beliefs of the 9/11 truth movement, but subsequently rejecting those beliefs, never actually held those beliefs sincerely, but were merely pretending to hold them in order to discredit the movement with their subsequent recanting. It leads to the fascinating possibility that, if all truthers were somehow convinced that their fantasies are groundless, the 9/11 truth movement would not only no longer exist, but would never have existed in the first place.

It's certainly true that nobody who ever thought that WTC7 was a controlled demolition has genuinely changed their mind. That's not possible in sane people. And the Truther who does not believe in the CD of WTC7 has never existed..

Therefore those who supposedly have changed their minds on the CD of WTC7 and now say that they think it was a natural collapse from fire are certainly Shills (or possibly mentally disturbed)

It's also worth mentioning that if there is a problem with WTC7 there is a problem with the whole 9/11 story from start to finish.

See you've got this all backwards Troll. Sane people compare WTC 7's collapse with that of a controlled demolition and incorporate the scientific investigations of the collapse and can see that WTC 7 is NOTHING like a controlled demolition.

Sane people don't find huge massive conspiracies and cover ups and evil nWo agents and planted shills around every corner simply because they have a more logical and critically thought out world view.

Sanity and the Twoof Movement is an oxymoron.

BS, bs. I know several people who lobby for a criminal investigation into 9/11 and don't believe in a CD of WTC7. I myself am agnostic. There are former truthers who have genuinely changed their mind about CD of WTC7 (like forum member DC). Veitch is not an obvious shill because he pretends to have changed his mind, but because of his behavior, background and history.

Do you know any Truth oriented person who does not believe that WTC7 was a controlled demolition that I would know of ? Or one you can point me to apart from DC needless to say.

CE are you going to give me some examples of 9/11 Truth people who do not believe tn the CD of WTC7 ? I'm genuinely interested (not to say amazed) that there might be such people.

I already told you that I am agnostic myself. I know several "truth oriented people" in Germany who are not only agnostic, but opposing CD. You may also find some of those kind of people at truthaction.org or similar sites.

I have a hard time believing that you are not aware of that.
