8/10 Terrorist conspiracy

I actually watched Screw Loose change and found it left something to be desired. Do you have a newer version? It was some months ago I saw it.

Nope. I don't plan to because I know that these idiots aren't in for it facts or debate, but character assassinations and political agenda. It would be a waste of my time.

The value I have added to this conversation is to redirect all your misplaced testosterone and egocentric psychosis to an actual person, rather than some idealogical strawman "CT" you can keep knocking over and setting back to reassure yourselves that you are indeed the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Oh please.

I don't remember it verbatim, but my recollection of my opinion regarding it was that the narrator didn't source his statements any better than Avery, and many of them seemed to be based on his own opinions.

Fact of the matter is, I didn't deny the official story, you just have a "witch-hunt" mentality going, you wanna route out every "9/11 denier" and measure your penis against theirs, to make sure you're still better than someone.

Mix metaphors much? We're hunting witches to measure our units against theirs?

DJLegacy??? Is that you???

The main arguments against Loose Change are not its lack of sourcing, they're against its factual assertions and insinuations. These things can be checked. Mark gave websites you can visit to check his statements. Some of it is opinion--it's called Screw Loose Change, after all...

Were there any points Mark made that you'd consider incorrect or inaccurate?

I was talking to Marky specifically, Pardalis, not the whole forum.

And if you scroll up you'll notice he agreed with that statement.. lol.

Ah, sorry. Sometimes I miss the "tu" form when speaking in English. :D

Thank you, I'll give it another watch. Just to be clear this isn't some kind of embittered "I'm gonna prove you wrong" watch, just a refresher for me since it has been brought up and it was some time ago I saw it.

Yes I do. Screw Loose Change could be somewhat better, because after releasing the first one, I got so many links to other sites. I'll admit that Screw Loose Change was a bit early.

But it doesn't really matter. These people aren't in it for the facts, but agendas. Their research skills are terrible. I actually have some people email to my gmail account (which is only possible from my main website) saying I am hiding with my anonymous "MarkyX" tag, despite my real name being in the email and the main page...

Yeah, these people are dense as hell, which is why I don't plan to speaking with one person or do another screw loose change. I actually wouldn't mind debating, if I can pull Chretien around their neck if they mention something insanely stupid like hijacking being alive. But I don't think that is proper behavior in a debate and the jury won't be too pleased with that.

Thanks so very much for the ad homenim, you really know how to hurt a guy.

Given your behavior in the thread to date, which I succinctly summarized in far kinder language than I might have, you have added nothing of substance. I was probably coarser than necessary. My less than perfect decorum doesn't change the fact that you are not speaking from a position of fact, nor authority, on any of the points you raised.

So, again, Dazed, make a point and back it up. Show your work. All you have offered us to this point are platitudes, generalities, speculation, and a few insults to the character of some, or all, of the board.

That approach does not make for a well received message, or point, if you ever bother to make one On The Topic At Hand.

Can you please provide 1 or 2 examples of logical fallacies he has personally touted? I must have missed them.

When you say "these people are dense as hell" are you including folks like Kevin Barrett? (http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/07/21/Sept.11.prof.ap/index.html)

I watched an interview with him on CNN, and he was very sharp, witty, lucid and confident. Didn't strike me as a moron at all.

Confidence, sharp, and witty aren't signs of intelligence. It only means that they are sharp, confidence, and witty.

For example, controlled demolitions of the WTC. When seismic readings don't show explosive devices, controlled demolition firms don't agree with you, and structual engineers think it's stupid...

And yet you still believe it's a controlled demolition, that is not a sign of intelligence. That's a sign of idiocy (or yet again, agenda).

Colleges are going down because people like Kevin Barret who is pushing his political agenda in a critical point of the youth's lives instead of teaching the subject. I was in public education and I remember my english teacher ranting about Bush or Osama Bin Laden instead of teaching english!

If Kevin wants to talk about 9/11, fine. Outside the Classroom if he must push his point. But to include it in his course and perhaps even accepting his theories on 9/11 to pass a course? It makes me want to throw up like an Olsen twin.

Explosive Gel Was to Be Concealed in Sports Drink

The suspected terror plotters arrested in Britain had planned to conceal their liquid or gel explosives inside a modified sports beverage drink container and trigger the device with the flash from a disposable camera.

ABC News has learned exclusively that the plotters planned to leave the top of the bottle sealed and filled with the original beverage but add a false bottom, filled with a liquid or gel explosive. The terrorists planned to dye the explosive mixture red to match the sports drink sealed in the top half of the container.

This, they thought, would ensure that they would be able to pass through security -- even if they were asked to unseal and drink the beverage.

The flash in a disposable camera has enough electrical power, they apparently believed, to set off the homemade explosive.

There are any number of homemade or modified commercial liquids that would have made effective explosives, with enough energy to damage or destroy a plane.
