I am still in awe that the Bible was able to tie its prophecy to a calendar that had not yet been invented by a culture that didn't yet exist. Isn't that proof enough of God's existence?
 
There should be a law that says if somebody predicts the rapture you're allowed to kill them after the predicted day passes.

They'd just fall back on the old method of placing their rapture guess far enough ahead into the future that they'd certainly be dead by the time the date passed.

I've read the Jesus / Daniel / Michael spiel somewhere before but can't place it. Gnostic stuff. Didn't we have a gnostic member for a while? hummm... Sig of 'come debate me at my science website' or something like that? Can't remember who.

It's verse 17 there that is responsible for the whole crazy thing. They mix up other passages which postdict that Christians will suffer before the second coming and come up with some Christians being raptured before the tribulation and some Christians making it through to see Jesus smash the Romans.

No, this isn't right at all. Everyone knows that Jesus is coming on July 7, 7777. that's 7/7/7777. I'm sure five six sevens is worth something.

It would've been 7/7/777, but God was totally high that day.
