The GOP is really putting their best foot forward at finding parents that are willing to use the tragedies in their children's lives as political tools this year.

As someone else pointed out, this isn't a dog whistle, it's a blowhorn. To specifically pick a parent of a 9/11 victim, as if El Sayed had ◊◊◊◊ all to do with 9/11, is some next level ◊◊◊◊-headary. It's a spit in the face to every single person who lost someone on 9/11.

Maybe the first order of business for a new congress is the impeachment of Blanche. At least stanch the bleeding because Trump's is going to take awhile. Seems like Attorney General should be a quicker process. Might as well throw Hegseth in there too.

Exactly correct. In Germany, there are still Nazis even though the vast majority of Germans are ashamed of that era and hate Nazis. Although, they have started making a comeback, which is a world wide phenomenon.

Yeah that was not on my bingo card. Hamilton in KS is tightening up too. And there's Osborn in NE who's making it surprisingly close. Though he's an indendent who says he won't caucus with either party. Which I don't believe; he would have absolutely no influence with any committee nor legislation. Might as well be sending a cardboard cutout to congress.

That's not the way I read it.

As someone who was bullied relentlessly in elementary school and into middle school I can testify that being bullied changes how you approach other people and situations. Sometimes you find yourself wanting all of the control because you never had any before. You can treat others terribly because you see your bullies in them, even though they didn't do anything. You can invent boogiemen in your head that aren't there just because you never knew who was going to be a dick to you.

It sucks, but I was thinking the same thing. Miller was undoubtedly bullied and now he has a massive chip on his shoulder and a bit of power so God dammit he's going to use it and make people pay. He will be respected!
