Sounds like the GOP’s new unity message at work.
Yes, they want a message of unity.......
for all white supremacists.

That is not mine. The oath is paraphrased from a film.10/10!
Forget it, she's rolling.Guilfoyle at the convention
"It is no wonder that the heroes who stormed the beaches of Normandy and faced down Communism sadly say they do not recognize our country anymore."

They introduced Vance with a bit of country music. The country music folks re pretty much all MAGA. And the lyrics describe that fictional world that they think they are living in. The world of 1960. Where there were no gay cowboys.
I have pretty much put country on hold since Bush. Nothing past Cash, Dylan and Willy at our house.
I think Vance is trying to sleep his way to the top. Vance changed from a "Never Trump" to a boot licker just in time. Trump likes whores. Vance will fit in just fine.
The VP takes the oath of office required by Article VI Clause 3 of the Constitution. It requires that the person support and defend the Constitution against all enemies ....
If Trump is elected, he will change the VP's oath of office something like this;
Then the VP will go do the voodoo that he does so well.
Now I am certain I will , laws be damned, acquuire a AR 15 over the next few months with what I have seen of the GOP convention. ANybody who thinks this is going to end without a lot of violence is not living in the real world.

Man, you just love the stereotypes, dont you.
1) Who is Kimberly G?
2) I hope you at least have a drinking game going.
Given how badly the fake cold messed him up, I’d think that Covid would make him drool and forget his name.
I’d give Biden full credit, due to rampant Bidenflation.

The current US inflation rate is 3%, which is exactly where economists think it should be.
Hillbillies in suburban Cincinnati. Still confused. Republcan presidents never have a good economy.
But there’s a reason Bailey, Dobbins and a number of other Middletown residents say they are not especially concerned by Vance being rocketed into the political mainstream without much in the way of experience – it’s because they have complete faith in the person who picked him: Donald Trump.
“I like Trump,” says Bailey. “And I think they’ll do a lot of good work together.”
“Trump’s not a politician. He’s a businessman,” says Dobbins, who worked as a fabricator at a nearby aerospace company before retiring. “When Trump got in [in 2016], things started looking better economy-wise, business-wise. I don’t think he can be beat [in November].”
