Ahh, well. I don't think that there's much point in weighing in on the obvious, so I feel like just giving a short comment and mostly leaving it at that, though so much more can be said.

Too much of our country demonstrated moral and intellectual bankruptcy, and now, we can expect a lot more financial bankruptcy, on top of that.

ETA: As a matter of fact, maga weirdoes were predicting the dems would bring lawsuit after lawsuit if they lost. Obviously, maga weirdoes are stupid and there's the proof.

I think a significant portion of people didn't vote, or voted against Kamala because of what is happening between Israel and the Palestines. They are about to find out that they voted for the worse of two fates for the Palestinian people.

Probably should be in another thread but... the Dems have a messaging problem I think. Trump gained ground in almost every demographic that he shouldn't have. It boggles the mind. Its a bit of an exaggeration but still. Family income wasn't very determinative but Trump won those making less than 100k year, Harris won those making more than 100k a year.

ETA, I shouldn't be excited about this, it plays into my pre-existing beliefs.

Nohting new. Back in the 90's, a book called "What's the Matter with Kansas" warned Dems that their inablity to win over blue collar and rural voters would prove fatal to them.

What amuses me is how bad a couple are at hiding their obvious bigoted agenda.
Problem is getting rid of the occasional Ayatollah will little good, and total regime change in Iran will come at a huge costs in lives. Isreal alone cannot do it would involve a full scale American invasion of Iran and the price would be horrible.
One of the bizarre things about Trump is how he goes back and forth between isolationism and sabre rattling. IMHO he will miscalculate, and land us into a real war.
War with Iran..and I hate the Iranian regime as much as anybody...will not quick and easy. Tom Cruise as Maverick will not solve everything with a air strike like in "Top Gun Maverick",(Which, from a pure military accuracy point of view, is a bunch of crap anyway),
