SOme people outside the US in this forum seem to be gloating about Trump's win as proving how stupid Americans are. That Trump 2.0 will have severe consquences for the rest of the world goes right by them.
 
Don't blame "America" in total for what only over half of them voted for. The rest of us (mostly) have some common sense and hate being lumped in with those maggots. A lot of us did what we could.

I highly doubt many of those other voters were truly concerned about "the economy" or even knew the first thing about it. They still don't know what "tariffs" are.

Trump will likely replace Alito and Thomas with two younger conservatives, thus guaranteeing another generation of this corrupt court. He will do nothing to combat climate change or encourage clean, renewable energy sources. He will set the U.S. back decades with these policies alone.

Not really. I still think political violence amounting to something near a civil war is still a strong possiblity, but some of the end of the world rhetoric I am seeing here is just over the top. When you being talking about an AI computer as the only way to save the Human race, that makes me look like a screaming optimist.
Trump will be disaster but not a castrophe. I still think Democracy is going to be tought to kill in the us then a lot of people think.

I give you the no election in 2028 and the only way to save us to a AI computer posts as an example.

Well, you don't need the US-Doom thing for that argument, since everything is already doomed anyway due to the heat death of the universe. But who is committing suicide because of that? Right, no one.

It’ll be a civil war but it will either finish up or take a break for the 2028 elections?

It is called exagerration to make a point...if things are as dark as some people say why just stick around for more suffering/
My point is I don't think the situation if hopeless and a lot of this is just venting.

Yes, might very well be the case. But I'm having a hard time seeing any positive way through what has been set in motion yesterday by the majority of the US citizens.

Everything I have read and heard this morning sort of disagrees with the ALl Trump Voters Are MAGA narrative.
You had an awful lot of Trump is the lesser of two evils voters. They made a horrible mistake, but they are not beyond chainging theri minds after a year of so of Trump 2.0
 
I wonder what percentage of people in Trump's internment camps will be those who voted him in last night.

You have look at why a majorty of US Citizens made that decision. I think the hard core MAGA voters were not what won Trump the election.
The minds of the lesser of two evils voters can change their minds, the hard core MAGA cannot.
and once gain, I just cannot see your solution of a AI Computer saving us to be viable.
