Cont: 2024 Election Thread part 3

From what I understand, he's going to cut the Department of Education, but because a large group of stupid maga weirdoes voted for trump and what's his name, I don't think it was doing any good anyway.

-
Since its creation under Carter US education standards have dropped quite a lot. Other than for the bureaucrats, it doesn't seem to be doing anybody much good.

So you think he's not going to renew his 2017 tax cuts?
Certainly hope not.

A high-stakes tax policy debate will accelerate this year through 2025 over the pending expiration of the individual income and estate tax provisions of the 2017 Trump tax law. Policymakers should use this opportunity to work toward a tax code that raises more revenues, is more progressive and equitable, and supports investments that make the economy work for everyone.

As this debate unfolds, policymakers and the public should understand that the 2017 Trump tax law:

  • Was skewed to the rich. Households with incomes in the top 1 percent will receive an average tax cut of more than $60,000 in 2025, compared to an average tax cut of less than $500 for households in the bottom 60 percent, according to the Tax Policy Center (TPC).[1] As a share of after-tax income, tax cuts at the top — for both households in the top 1 percent and the top 5 percent — are more than triple the total value of the tax cuts received for people with incomes in the bottom 60 percent.[2]

Probably not!
Elon has PTSD and should have consulted a therapist to deal with his grievances or frustration about his child, which are surely legit. But he didn't have to drag the rest of the world down with his revenge trip.
Drag down? No, lift up! Every presidental election involves coalition building. Trump getting the tech bros this time around seems to have helped alot.

Yup, and you can see it in how the maga weirdoes voted.

Sorry, WRONG AGAIN, I'm not a lefty, liberal, or even a democrat, but keep going. You're definitely on a winning streak... bwahahahaha

-
Well, okay. Lefties should just keep calling people who didn't go to college stupid. Worked well this year.

I thought Trump's performance V Harris was hilarious. Doesn't do me much good now.

True, but can't you see him going up against what's his name, you know the VP, especially since he won't be able to complain about how bad the dems are, since it'll all be my stupid, fellow republican's fault if bad things happen, but as always, that's just my opinion. Your mileage may vary of course.

TRum will not cut government nearly as much as some people think. He is not a Libertarian. And he will need government to carryout what he wants to do.
people scream about cutting goverment, but when cuts are made they scream I do not mean for you to cut the programs I like.

I supect the Deparement of Education will be folded back in Health and Welfare, the way it was pre 1976.
