The spirit of America has changed over time there was once a time were Republicans and Democrats worked together and congress people from both sides actually played softball together. But now at times there seems like your country is on the verge of civil war but the US army and other branches of the armed forces is probably keeping that in check. But if Trump exports all the illegal immigrants away a lot of your economy will crash not unless you teach your kids about working in the field or cleaning up after older people. I honestly don't get what some think that some people are going after your private parts and force you to have sex changes. The human body is a very complex thing and not everyone is a carbon copy of everyone else. Some of you get all worked up because some ask you to call them, the, instead she or him.

I realize he can't legally run again but he has said things that would imply that he would us the police and army to keep power or to go after his enemies.

I can't help but be curious how my stating that the NYT gives Harris a 4% chance of winning, and you actually quoting me saying that the NYT gives Harris a 4% chance of winning, leads to your conclusion that I have ignored the NYT giving Harris a 4% chance of winning.

Most everyone calling PA for Trump which should be the end...and Trump leading in most other states.

So if that holds...God help us. Then again, I would have said that no matter who won. The plus side FWIW is that this is the last time Trump will be president. We might get someone sane in 2028. Or not.

What has surprised me is that the election results are essentially certain so early. I fully expected to wake up in the morning to the results bering in abeyance pending recounts in multiple swing states. Instead, the results are known to 99% certainty several hours before I go to bed.

Yeah, I've found that odd too. If Harris were slightly ahead, I'm sure that would be different.
 
Kari Lake's political career may be flaming out, she's currently running 5.4% behind Gallegos in precincts where Trump is winning by 1.5%. Good riddance!
