If Dump wins (I'm refusing to not hold out hope until the end), it'll probably severely damage US-European ties, too. We've been talking for a while now about how the US is increasingly not a reliable ally and trade partner. Between trade wars and Dump wanting to leave NATO,

It'll be four long years if/when he wins, either way. I mean, I say four, but who knows if elections will be recognizable in 2028, if they're even held.

Yeah, that's probably closer to the mark. I heard recently that the shift by latino voters to Republicans was in part their hatred of being called "Latinx."

How amazing is it that the Democratic elites don't understand that being told what the correct way to refer yourself is, would be considered offensive.
 
Not much commented on is that Trump is projected to with the popular vote. Even I didn't anticipate that.

Obvioiusly there will be a United States and obviously it won't be legal for Trump to run for president in 2028. It's ok to dislike Trump, but try to express yourself interlligently.

Most people think he constitutionally cannot win a third non-consecutive term. Not convinced that he won't give it a shot if he lives that long.

Which reminds me, JD Vance. I'd much, much rather have him as my president than Trump, as sad as that sounds.
