Video is still the appropriate term, it means moving images that are recorded, transmitted or reproduced with particular reference to electronic forms of media.

On pretty much every issue, Republican politicians have rather openly shown themselves to be happy to sabotage the US and they just keep putting truly vile people into positions of power. Seriously, when traumatizing civil servants is just part of the plan, when sabotaging the economy is just part of the plan, when giving rapists legal rights over those they rape is just part of the plan, when our immigration issues are primarily caused by Republicans in just about all aspects, when... seriously, there's so very, very absurdly much more. The current Democratic Party isn't perfect, by a long run, but they're a viable option for reasonable governance. The current Republican Party is not.

A fun thought experiment is to imagine a modern Republican voter/politician travelling back in time 10-20 years to have a debate with their former selves. The younger versions would probably throw up.

Of course, a few of the younger versions would say, "... and we're actually getting away with it?!"

I early voted today. I was momentarily alarmed when my eye was automatically drawn to the Trump/Vance box. Not just because it was the first one in the list, but I've seen that goddamn name so many times it's like advertising that gets into your brain. It works. But I didn't vote for them.

I thought this again is Trump projecting. I thought this description of Liz Cheney more accurately describes himself.
 
Well, I have noticed that 538 has Harris's chances diminishing rather quickly. I think she either started this week or ended last week up 1.7% in the national and that's down to 1.2% today. Doesn't seem to really be the trend she was hoping for, but crazily enough poll after poll come in with Trump up 1-3%.
 
Someone (I'm sure MAGA) is deploying fake ballot drop boxes in Clark County Washington. I hope they recover the ballots and imprison whoever is doing it for a very, very long time.

She hated Bill Clinton, because, you know, he was a sleazeball and a creep.

But she loves Donald Trump, even though he's a sleazeball and a creep. But hey, that's just his personal life.
