Given they didn't change it when it first got publicity then even if it wasn't initially intentional it was after the ruckus.

You know, at this stage I'd believe that Galaxy Brain is stupid enough to believe the lie he just regurgitated. Nobody knows how well the early voting is going in Penn. because votes don't be counted until after the election closes.

Well, yes and no. The actual ballots aren't passed but I think they can get preliminary data like location of votes cast, and maybe even party affiliation of vote cast. That's not to say the person voted for that party on the ballot, just that they're registered to that ballot and voted.

I'm not defending what Elon said, and I don't think he's right. Those numbers would be insane at this point, but we can get a general idea of how things are going.

Thank you, I was just about to ask if that information was actually going to be available to anyone let alone released to the public.

It doesn't make it wrong on the face of it, but it does make the selection process extremely important. If none of the 862 people they polled had done a poll before, it's probably not too far off a random sample (though I'm not a statistician, I'm sure there's nits to pick). If they already get polled regularly as volunteers to be harassed, and it sounds like they do, the utility of any survey rapidly goes to crap. At best, imagine your slightly racist uncle on Facebook. You ask him once a week, every week, to see if he's changed his mind on his support for Trump. What do you think his answer will be? Worst case, you've got people using this as an income stream and taking whatever position they need to maximize their selection odds for future surveys.

And all of that is assuming Aristotle and CINT survey purveyors are even trying to provide an even mix of participants and aren't taking money on the side to salt the survey with biased responders, or just making them the hell up.
