Cont: 2024 Election Thread part 3

Donald says

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Kamala’s support is collapsing with Black voters. Inflation is hell. Worse, their cities are being used as illegal alien dumping grounds. If Kamala gets 4 more years, the Black Community loses its political power forever because their neighborhoods will all be majority migrant.

I have to say, Why should a black man vote for her? She married a white guy, was a white guys Vice President, and chose a white guy for her Vice President.
Black guys should obviously vote for Donald.

Donald on the Fox interview with Kamala

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Great job by Bret Baier in his Interview with Lyin’ Kamala Harris. She has a massive and irredeemable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME - So bad, in fact, that she is barely able to talk about any subject other than the man who had the best economy ever, the strongest border in history, and who just got the UNANIMOUS ENDORSEMENT OF THE U.S. Border Patrol, ME! Their Endorsement was a TREMENDOUS HONOR!!! They said that Comrade Kamala did a terrible job, the absolute worst in memory, and can’t be allowed to do it again. She is also the WORST Vice President in history, but hopefully will soon be GONE. Again, congratulations to Bret Baier on a tough but very fair interview, one that clearly showed how totally incompetent Kamala is. For the good of our Nation, her inferior Cognitive ability must be tested at once!

I was at Super Saver, as it was a convenient stop. I shop at a bigger chain somewhat bigger stores and services inside (pharmacy).

This was definitely low information voter area. lady in her 70s clearly was not happy, though the male cashier made some chatter. But unles she has a relative that is pregnant, Trump is not on her mind. She bought a whole basket of stuff, mostly in cardboard packing.

These people will all claim that "the federal governmnet does not do anything." Despite funding most of our South Beltline road. Anything two steps away that the feds do, nobody hears about it.

Also clear was the fact that the presidential election does mean much at all to these shoppers. If they just hear a little bit, they may be turned off and not show up to vote. other than that, if they voted Trump 2020, they will again. And in truth, in a red state, they already know most of the winners of the local races.

A luke warm "hey thanks, I'll say something nice at your sentencing" and move along, if I was in a good mood.

That would be a great example of quite possibly the dumbest ******* response anyone could make. It's the exact same thing as saying, "Kamala should act like a left-wing Trump."

Let me express my glee that you're not in charge of anyone's campaign. They would assuredly be screwed.

Maybe the half dozen or so "good" Republicans that guest spot on CNN and MSNBC aren't a big enough demographic to risk dperessing turnout among you base. Why is it when a dempographic that historically supprots Democrats expresses disagreement with the party, they need to shut up and get in line? When a Republican comes in and starts telling Democrats what to do, the party and the media have them front and center?

No one is telling you to shut up and get in line. I made a pretty low key post about voter turnout in Georgia and you took the opportunity to **** on Kamala for no reason at all, that I can see. It's petty. You just wanted to bitch about something Harris did, and that's exactly what you did, bitch.

Express disagreements all you want, but I have kids. I know when someone just wants to complain for the sake of complaining.

Not sure how this coincides with the polls but it looks like the Dems are still out fundraising the GOP in the "11th hour".

Democrats in races rated as "Toss-up," "Lean Democrat" or "Lean Republican" by Cook Political Report raised an average of nearly $2 million in that three-month period, according to Federal Election Commission filings.

  • By contrast, Republicans in those 43 districts raised an average of just under $800,000, and all but two were out-raised by their Democratic foes.
  • Only Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-Mont.) and former Rep. Mayra Flores (R-Texas) raised more than their Democratic opponents, the filings showed.
  • Even many Republican incumbents, some who have been in Congress for years, were bested in fundraising — some by overwhelming margins.

The GOP is saying:

The House Republican who was out-raised by their Democratic opponent told Axios that the third quarter was "nothing beyond what we have been seeing" in recent cycles.

  • The advantage is "not shocking, and we've been bringing in good numbers too," the GOP lawmaker added.
  • National Republican Congressional Committee spokesperson Will Reinert noted that vulnerable House Republicans on the NRCC's "Patriots" program had an average of roughly $250,000 more in cash-on-hand than their DCCC "Frontliner" counterparts.
  • Reinert also pointed to a recent Inside Elections analysis that said "the GOP has still has a narrow advantage overall" in the battle for the House.

Hopefully the Dems will spend wisely. Axios was the source.

Yes, because holding war criminals who compliment him accoutnable is a very Trump thing to do.

That is some serious gaslighting right there.

I know, the billionaire donors would be so mad. Won't some think of the billionaires?!?!?

No one is telling you to shut up and get in line.

Ya, ok, the whole "YOU WANT TRUMP TO WIN!" thing isn't at all about silencing dissent. Pull the other one, it's got bells.

No, you started with an urban myth and then got a dig in at progressives.

Seems Donald only want people that like him on TV.
Maybe he will pass a law if he wins

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Why does Suzanne Scott of FoxNews keep putting on third rate "talking heads" like Jessica Tarlov, Richard Fowler, Patrick Murphy, "something" Wolf, Keisha Lance Bottoms, and other Radical Left Lunatics that lie, and make up statements, with Fox, rarely having any counter to their storytelling? It is so bad for winning the Most Important Election in the History of our Country. Likewise, not a moment goes by when I'm not looking at negative, false Ads that the other camp stuffs the Fox airwaves with. If I win and, I hope for the Country's sake that I do, and this Radical Left Moron, Kamala, doesn't get a chance to run the Country, it is DESPITE Fox, not because of them!

He's still unhappy with that 60 Minutes interview.
Maybe he'll pass a law about that one as well.
What does he mean by the "'hard way"?

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Why won't 60 Minutes release the fraudulent tapes of Lyin' Kamala's Interview with them? Could it be because it was a COMPLETE AND TOTAL DISASTER, or that they "CREATED" many additional new answers for her, not just the one where she was so embarrassingly CAUGHT. In normal times, what happened on 60 Minutes, (deceptively "doctoring" her answers), would be THE END OF ANYONE'S CAMPAIGN! Kamala is slow, incoherent, and is in no way qualified to be President of the United States. RELEASE THE TAPES FOR THE GOOD OF AMERICA. We can do it the nice way, or the hard way!

Harris's staunch refusal to articulate a position on anything except for a couple of cheesy economic incentives to buy votes.

BTW, Ghalib is the mayor of Hamtramck, not Detroit.

Trump policy stands:

Jan. 6 insurrection: pardons for these "patriotic and peaceful protestors". It was "a day of love."

Healthcare: "I have a concept."

Immigration: Mass deportations of millions of migrants. He wanted to
deport Dreamers until the SC ruled against him in 2020.Repeal
Temporary Protected Status of Haitians because they're eating
people's "dogs, cats, and other things". Place migrants in huge
camps before deportation. Separate US citizen children from
their deported parents.

Economy: Mass deportation of migrants depleting work force in agriculture
and other areas resulting in billions lost in tax revenue and jobs
left unfilled, tariffs that would increase costs of goods to
American consumers and reignite inflation, cutting taxes for the
wealthy resulting in huge deficit increase.

LGBTQ issues: "Is opposed to expanding transgender rights." "Stop gender-
affirming care for minors, which he equates with 'child
abuse'; impose 'severe consequences' for teachers
who discuss transitioning with students; and discourage the
promotion of gender transitioning for Americans of any age."

Federal Workforce: Make it easier for the president to fire civil servants,
remove protections for federal employees and government
whistleblowers

Climate Control: Removed US from Paris Agreement, cut federal
environmental regulations including emissions and
environmental controls of coal-powered plant, eliminate
electric vehicle mandate and push "drill, baby, drill" fossil
fuel policies,

... If Kamala gets 4 more years, ...

Does that mean he's conceding this election and has already started campaigning for 2028?
(Yes, I know it's his continuing delusion that the Vice President has a lot more duties and authority than the position actually has.)

Yes, because holding war criminals who compliment him accoutnable is a very Trump thing to do.

That is some serious gaslighting right there.

The **** are you talking about? How was Kamala making a statement similar to yours going to hold him accountable? To who? No one. That time has passed. It's not gaslighting, you're just butthurt that she didn't make some stupid ass comment in the heat of the moment.

I know, the billionaire donors would be so mad. Won't some think of the billionaires?!?!?

Wow, someone has a high opinion of themselves. You think you running anyone's campaign would bother billionaires at all? I hate to be the guy to point this out, but your boiler plate progressive statements aren't new or edgy.

Ya, ok, the whole "YOU WANT TRUMP TO WIN!" thing isn't at all about silencing dissent. Pull the other one, it's got bells.

I've never said or implied that about you so perhaps you should go get pulled by someone else.

No, you started with an urban myth and then got a dig in at progressives.

Because I pointed out that progressives think Kamala is going to lose? You say that **** all the ******* time. You've implied she's doing everything wrong repeatedly. That's not a dig, that's calling a spade a spade.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/elections/interactive/2024/biggest-campaign-donors-election-2024/

Trump and Republicans might not be getting a lot of donations directly, but the Super PAcs supporting them are far bigger than those supporting Harris.

Right, and PACs don't represent individual people. I thought that was kind of implied. People vote, PACs don't. If individual people who cast their vote are donating money directly to the party reps then that's a good sign.

I know, I know. You NEED it to somehow be a bad sign for Harris, but it's really not. The fact we're this late in the game and the main people propping the GOP up are PACs rather than people should be a warning sign.

I think Donal wants Trump to win, because this would 'Radicalize the Masses" and bring about the glorious People's Revolution quicker.
I am not making this up btw, it is an actaul theory in the militant left.Provoke a regime into violent repressive action since that would win more people over to the revolution. It has never worked very well, though.

Trump just blamed Ukraine for the war with Russia.
He seemed to have backed off a little from his open support fo Putin but has backslid.
The Dems should give heavy publicty to this.

Regarding the highlighted: Some of our more passionate far-left progressives, aka 'Bernie Bros', have a long history of consistently criticizing Democrats almost to the same level as they do Republicans, especially more moderate Dems. Back during the 2020 primaries, Biden-bashing was de rigueur for them, including propping up the "sexual predator" nonsense. Not much has changed.

Trump was slated to headline the “Defend the 2nd” rally on Oct. 22. The Trump campaign cited a scheduling conflict in pulling out of that event, per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The gun advocacy group later scrapped the entire event.

The diminished campaigning schedule is sure to raise eyebrows as critics question whether the 78-year-old former president is fit to continue campaigning at a competitive pace.
https://www.salon.com/2024/10/17/no...s-nra-rally-appearance-amid-decline-concerns/

Trump has 8 events...at least it looks like..to the 27th

Elon Musk is doing a talk at the moment in Pennsylvania, with more talks there scheduled.

I think he thinks HE's running for President. :oldroll:
