Nothing to appoint him to unless he wins. In which case, a cabinet position: HHS; FDA or USDA. Based on what he's been saying I'm betting he was promised Agriculture.

That was my point. Trump can't appoint him to anything. Agriculture? That makes sense for a guy who hasn't been on a farm his entire life. Grew up in Hyannisport, lived in New Yirk DC and LA.

But he does have a lot in common with Trump. He's a narcissistic nut who has married three times and accused of sexual assault.

Who is Megan Kelly and why do we care waht they think?

And again, betting odds aren't to predict results, they are to entice morons to bet money.

she's a former Fox host about whom Trump said "blood coming out of her wherever" because he got upset over a woman asking questions that weren't designed to bless him

Agriculture because he's been going on and on about food and processed food and the food business. That's all USDA. (A little FDA but mostly USDA)

Secretary of Agriculture doesn't have to set foot on a farm ever.

How did I miss this ?

President Trump is hosting a Jan 6 awards gala.

Presumably the GOP is perfectly fine with this.

Unlikely he'll actually do it, I think. Kind of hope he does, but I suspect his handlers will probably talk him out of it. As long it's a dog whistle without actually having to blare it.

While Trump is listed as an "invited guest speaker" it is unclear whether the Republican presidential candidate will be attending the event in person. Newsweek contacted Trump's 2024 presidential campaign and Stand in the Gap by email, along with the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster via online inquiry form, for comment on Friday outside of regular office hours.

Pity it didn't start with Broc's area

Broca's area? I think it did. His speech is not normal, it's very, very raspy.

But maybe the worm didn't eat it all, and it crawled on to other areas controlling logic and sanity.

In a completely non-shocking turn of events, RFK jr. is endorsing Trump:

As has been already discussed, I doubt this will have much of an impact on anything.

As a spoiler backed by repug money who was failing to take many Dem voters with him even when Biden was still running it was inevitable that Robert Óg would eventually be told to pull out.

This. Especially after Jan. 6 when his supporters stormed the Capital.

Ever wonder why he didn't pardon them any time during his last two weeks in office? He could have with just a stroke of his pen.

He didn't pardon them because they failed to stop the count and lost the battle to keep him in office. They lost. They let him down. They were losers.

If they succeeded pardons for everyone, but no pardons for losers.

To add to the disrespect angle -

Ex-Trump press secretary Stephanie Grisham says he mocked his supporters as 'basement dwellers'

Can anyone imagine Trump switching out Vance for RFK as VP?

When is the ballot finalised?

Not the internal party ones but the latest a candidate has to appear on the ballot?

Depends on the State. But considering some states have early voting and vote by mail the deadline is days away there.

That's what I suspected.
