My view is that it's not likely to matter - the majority of people having any angst about it will be MAGA. Shares have gone up far too far and a correction is well overdue and I don't believe it's a big deal.

The President appoints Federal Reserve Governors BUT he doesn't have the authority to fire any of them.

Federal Reserve Governors serve 14-year terms that are staggered to ensure stability and continuity. A new term begins every two years on February 1 of even-numbered years. A governor who serves a full term cannot be reappointed, but a governor who finishes an unexpired term may be reappointed. All terms end on their statutory date, regardless of when the governor is sworn into office.

They DO NOT SERVE AT THE PRESIDENT'S PLEASURE.
