Yeah, that's one wrinkle. The other is RFK. I suppose if he endorses Trump that would be a problem for Harris and the Democrats. That said, I wonder how many of the people who say they are for RFK are low-information voters who just see the name Kennedy and go all gooey.

When Trump and the GOP controlled the government they talked about a great infrastructure bill. After four years, nothing happened. Biden got one done immediately and it's paying off.

What are you talking about? If the fetus is viable and you have to end the pregnancy, you do whatever you can to save the baby.

Organs outside of the body would have been seen on ultrasound. No one 'sets the baby aside'. :rolleyes:

You are asking me to prove a negative—there is no bias—which is impossible, which as a skeptic, you surely must know. On the other hand, that women are disadvantaged—your claim—is demonstrable if true. So, the ball, by logical necessity, is in your court.

Apparently it was needed before but now it's no longer needed because DEI is being used and that is bad.
 
I HATE the timing of the Prisoner Swap and the announcement for Supreme Court Reform.

It looks like things that Biden intended to use for maximum publicity for his run for 2nd Term.

The best time to get the prisoners out is as soon as possible. It should NOT be timed for electoral purposes, which would be gross behaviour and indeed one of the accusations made against Reagan.

I'm not going to disagree, but this begs the question of whether it was timed for electoral purposes or if that's just when it ended up. Without evidence of wrongdoing, it's a bit premature to assume wrongdoing.

The Supreme Court thing is obviously for election related purposes, of course, which is entirely understandable, given that Democrats would require a sufficient trifecta to make it happen.
 
Negotiations have been going on for 2 years involving a number of countries including |Russia.

Do you think those countries, especially Russia agreed to time it to benefit Biden's campaign?

Zag is way off on these. I don't see how either has anything to do with the election. It's not that Biden is above timing such a thing for political calculation. Only it really doesn't fit.

I think if anything, his decision not to run for a second term, frees him to do what he thinks is right.

sure. I might be completely off base on this.

I think I'm mostly pissed that Putin got everything he wanted by holding Americans hostage: he got Germany to release an assassin.
This is a flashing advertisement for future hitman that they can kill without consequences, as Putin can always arrest someone to trade them for.

Expect another round of Russia-ordered assassinations.

Of course, this is not sufficient reason to leave four people in the clutches of the Kremlin
