2020 Presidential Election

It really isn't a question of "healing" the country. First there has to be thorough investigations. Then charges have to be brought. Probably takes 2 years. Trump will be what, 77? And then even you have to get an unbiased jury. It's gonna be hard to secure a conviction even if the evidence is overwhelming. Then even if they get the conviction, Trump will appeal. Whats it gonna look like imprisoning an 80 year old former President?

Beautiful.

True. Still, I'd like to see Don Jr. and Eric trying to get real jobs.

There'll always be a lucrative gig for them in the right-wing media.

There'll also be people willing to pay to be associated with the family of an ex-President - even one who isn't that well regarded.

Well given the nature of Trump's crimes, it is possible that even if stubby Mcbonespurs dies before he is convicted, there is probably stuff they can be convicted of as well.

(Remember the one revelation on Trump's taxes... That Ivanka may have received consult fees from the Trump organization... A possible case of tax fraud.)

Texas went to Trump ahead by only .5 percent in the aggregate polls. If my thesis is correct that new voter registration and voter turnout means Biden will out perform the the polls, he might take the state. Victories in Texas and Florida for Biden would probably keep down a lot of post election shenanigans that might be coming.

Since @realDonaldTrump said during the debate that Dr. Anthony Fauci is a registered Democrat, I checked D.C.’s voter registry... and he’s not.

It doesn't pay to be a minority in the racist party. They only treated him with respect as long as he danced to their tune.

Actually, it can pay quite well, if you're willing to play by the rules. Personally, I would not take this route, as I like being able to look at myself in the mirror without being overwhelmed with shame, but I guess it's all about the money for some people.

I'll admit I was never very clear on why Steele joined the GOP, but given his Catholicism, I can take a guess. And while he can definitely be corny when talking to people much younger than him, that's really true of most politicians so I don't really care.

Seriously, though, as soon as he became RNC chair, the position was stripped of nearly all spending power, the GOP proceeded to whine and complain about how he did nothing even as he broke fundraising limits, they then booted him right after they took over the House, gave his replacement the powers they had stripped from him, and not only refused to honor him as a "great RNC chair" at a recent ceremony, they didn't even invite him to the event, which he attended as a guest of MSNBC.

Frankly, it's disgusting to treat anybody in that manner, but given Steele's race, it's not a surprise that the GOP treated him like that.

I disagree with one point:

Not a bank in the Western world. There are several banks controlled by Putin's tame oligarchs, and the Kremlin has a controlling interest in Sberbank, Russia's biggest bank by far.

Edited OP for typo.

They won't support him if he turns out to be a loser in two weeks time. And when they call their money back in a pound of flesh won't satisfy them
