19 hijackers in a cave strawman

It has always bugged me that the Truthers keep saying things like, "I am supposed to believe that 19 guys in a cave pulled off 9/11?" Nobody believes that only 19 hijackers were involved with the plot. Bin Ladin, Kalid Sheik Muhammed and others planned it and financed it. Support personnel trained these individuals and helped them gain entry to the US through the cell in Hamburg. AQ, though small, was not just 19 guys.
 
I'm not sure if twoofers say that because they're racist themselves or because they're trying to capitalize on other people who are. A combination of the two, in all likelihood.

It's either....

C'mon people - do you really think the great US of A was attacked and left in a state of shock by a bunch of cave-dwelling A-rabs? Puh-lease....A-rabs don't even know what planes are, let alone how to fly them!

Or....

Even if A-rabs did attack America there's no way they could have done it without the help of someone white.

But the troofers are full of sound, fury and well chewed feces, so they have no room for brains.
 
There is a thread here somewhere where myself and others listed the academic credentials of the top Al-Qaeda people, and many of the hijackers, and they were, in that regard anyway, far, far, from "guys in caves".

And there I was thinking that you were planning to point out that out of the hijackers a grand total of 0 ever lived in a cave.

And I have a hard time beleiving that a unemployed loser artist wannabe from Vienna could lead the world into the greatest catastrophe in it's history.
Or that a ham actor could kill America's greatest President.
I always had a low opinion of the Twoofers, but when I saw how widespread this meme was in the movement is when my low opinion became real contempt because of the monumental ignorance of history it shows. Things a lot more unlikely then then 9/11 Hijackings have taken place.

I guess I more or less thought the emphasis was on the 19 rather than the cave. Caves can be very nice, and before the adoption of the thermobaric bomb, quite a good place to hide from indirect fire and air strikes.

But yes, AQ hid in caves in Tora Bora but didn't use it as a place to train, and they are definitely being racist when they mention caves.

I still don't get how CTers see the power of individual agency. On one hand they are caught up in a romantic/angry fantasy of being one fighting the many, on the other hand they think that the government is all powerful and unstoppable. My guess is that they realize that their little pen pal club of a movement isn't going to go anywhere and they deeply resent the idea that 19 terrorists actually struck out at what they so deeply despise.
 
I think the jist of the insult/theory is that it is ridiculous to believe that 19 cavemen could pull off 9/11.

And yes, if the attacks were alleged to be pulled off by 19 CAVEMEN, I would have my doubts. Sanity prevails, however, as clearly the members of Al-Qaeda who planned the attacks, and for that matter those that pulled it off, were in large college educated men with resources, and contacts throughout the world.

Mohammed Atta was a doctoral candidate in architecture in Germany, which makes him more qualified than either Richard Gage or Kevin Ryan.

This has always struck me as an extremely uneducated argument.
Well either that or a film school reject type of a thing to say.

Twoof movment

I wonder what Ramzi Yousef thinks about the twoof movement? I bet Avery and friends would say that Ramzi Yousef was working for the FBI. USA is in ADX Florence= United States Penitentiary Administrative Maximum Facility. Why wont Alex Jones interview Ramzi Yousef? I would like to see somebody from the twoof movement interviewing Ramzi Yousef.
 
All the twoof movement has to do is go to ADX Florence and ask Ramzi Yousef. Ramzi Yousef would probaly say that 9/11 was not an inside job and KSM planed both atacks.

Have you investigated the folks without Arabic names that are associated with the Hamburg cell?

Truthers say that because that is what Bush told us all. Remember he said he was going to smoke them out of their caves, yada yada yada.

So why is the 9/11 deniers constantly bring up the caves argument, yet NO ONE ELS DOES?

Because other experts have stated that the operation would have to have some kind of state sponsored support, not just an independent cave dwelling operation.

The argument of course is, which State?
Some argue Saudia Arabia, others argue Israel, some argue Afghanistan, some argue that individuals within the U.S. Govt's covert operatus helped to facilitate the attacks. Or perhaps a combination of some of the above.
