lenny - You raise some very good points. Unfortunately I can't think of a more robust methodology at this point in time; Google's advanced search let's you filter out anything that isn't "in the text of the page", as they put it, but I'm unsure how suitable that is for our purposes (I just used standard search to gather the data above).
