Come on, I'm sure we can do it!

1. I used to have a lovely bent spoon. I bought it from a street trader in Brussels in 1979. It had been a solid silver dessert spoon with a lovely leafy pattern on the handle. The bowl had been sawn off and the remainder bent into an ellipse with a gap of about 2 cm which made it just possible to slip it over your hand.

It made a very attractive bracelet.

Unfortunately it vanished in a burglary at my house in 1985, but I'll never forget my "Uri Geller bracelet", as I affectionately called it.

Only 1,000 more to go....

3) you can make nice rings out of them (seriously, out of little spoons)

4) for skeptics to bend back straight and show 'psi' doesn't exist!

5) becuase that is how spoons are made in the first place

6) better trajectory for flicking food in the cafeteria

7) makes 'spooning' in bed much more interesting..

8) harder to eat = easier to lose weight

makes 'spooning' in bed much more interesting..

I am not sure that is legal in most Southern states . . . unless it is with a close relative. . . .

Unfortunately, a common use involves heroin.

Whenever I eat ice cream, I tend to bend my spoons. If you had a spoon pre-bent in the opposite direction for eating ice cream then when it got bent it would be just like a normal spoon. That would be a good use, IMO.

A bent spoon makes a good extinguisher for candles.

Three bent spoons placed in the shape of a pyramid will bring good fortune (ahh... to the person who sold you the spoons).

ALL the spoons in my kitchen drawer WITHOUT EXCEPTION are bent and they are ALL useful.

A believe that whilst it's OK for spoons to refer to each other as "bent" it's considered very un-PC for outsiders to do so. I understand that bent spoons prefer to be called "cutlery who have adopted an alternative lifestyle"

16. (I think) Several bent spoons could be combined with dowsing rods stuck in the ground to play 'woowoo-horseshoes'

Get a spoon round a rod and win instant karma!
