I know there's a thread for this sort of thing buried somewhere, but it makes me feel like a big man to start new ones. :D Anyway, here are a few old images from my high-speed photography experiments that I thought might be enjoyed here. They're resized and quite compressed so the image quality...

Just saw an ad for the ghost story on the Australian TV show Today/Tonight for tonight. The reporter called me yesterday and said that their expert had ruled out my explanation of a cobweb or something else close to the lenes. Mind you, I only saw the video and not the location. See...

I'm having a friendly debate on another board, and I mentioned the Mythbusters appearing at TAM4. My opponent doesn't believe they would appear. I pointed to the brochure and website listing them, but he says, "that doesn't mean they actually appeared - people cancel all the time." Does...

OK, Boomspeed is all very cute and stuff, but it hardly gives more than a megabyte of space. I could use multiple accounts, but that would make a mess. So is there any site that is free, gives decent amount space, and allows linking to images? (Yeah. I know, and I want a pony too!)

For those of you who weren't fortunate enough to join this endeavor, it was truly wonderous, and very well guided my Kitten and Slick. Enjoy! By the way, PM me with your email if this link doesn't work. http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=x93kd64.xo079vo&x=0&y=-w9f1aq

Instead of crowding the "Your recent artwork" thread with large pictures, I decided to post them here. Enjoy (some of these might be a little dark) This one is an unfinished panoramic composed of 3 pictures. Bridge in Rotterdam: Street in Amsterdam: This one is an unfinished panoramic...

Take a look at the attached images. I swear that 3d Studio Max and Photoshop had NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM!!!

http://www.rochester-paranormal.com/ Orbs, blobs, smears, streaks, smoke, etc... Pages and pages of them: http://www.rochester-paranormal.com/photo.html It's like a shrine to photographic incompetence. Right on the front page: A picture of a shaking dog taken at an incorrect shutter...

I know there is no shortage of images of Katrina but I just wanted to post this link as an interesting photo-narative from someone who was there but is not part of the media. Five days with Katrina

One of my favorite moons in this star system Isn't Mimas nifty?

I keep having to answer the "why are there no stars in photos of astronauts on the moon?" question. It must be a biggie with the "we didn't go to the moon" guys. I've actually given up on the explainations, or sending people to a web site. A couple at the school where I teach mentioned it...

Is this just frozen spray off of the ocean? Or are these images photoshopped? click

We don't get to see the actual torture, just the devices used. Oddly enough, while I can find news articles about this, not many of them come with pictures. I wonder why?

And we know this because <a href=http://www.uncoveror.com/ufos.htm> That's funny stuff! </a>

I found this May Beetle on my porch when I went to get the paper this morning and then spent over an hour taking pictures of it. I didn't expect the hair on its underside: Don't forget to hit the F11 key for better viewing. If I take any more insect photos I'll put them in this thread.

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=518&ncid=732&e=1&u=/ap/20040422/ap_on_re_eu/britain_diana_pictures I didn't see the show, and think that showing photos like this...of anyone...is certainly in bad taste. However, I am bemused that the British press would be screaming about the...

I am new here, so , I apologize of this is not an appropriate post - or the appropriate place for this post. Occasionally, during lunch, I visit the ghost study website and check out their "Amazing ghost photo gallery" www.ghoststudy.com/gallery.html. They have the usual - orbs, motion blur...

UK Virgin Mary claim over Hume photo (Closeups of image at link) I classify this under paranormal rather than religion because I would like a good skeptical debunking from some of you photographers out there. Of course there's the Rorscharch factor: If it looks like it has a beard it's...
