Apparently the Daily Mail survey asked people to answer in one word, what trump's plans are if he wins a second term. The word with the biggest typeface is "revenge."

If I had to answer with one word -- what I expect trump's plans are should he win a second term -- that would probably be my answer: revenge.

Mine would be "Trump".

Trump Stinks!

Interesting, actually. Seems several men of power have it that way. They said the same about Mao Zedong, and I have heard it of a couple of our local politicians.

I always like to see human behaviour in the light of our evolutionary history: Back in the African plains, the early hominid clan chief might well have had a privilege of smell, like some animal alpha flock leaders.

Obviously, of course, Donald has never had anybody daring to tell him: "Hey, go take a bath for a change, you stink!". Those who might dare, would simply find new employment, instead.

It's attention-seeking behaviour. Started when he was ignored by his family and raised by a psychopath father. It's the 77yo version of throwing a screaming ****-flinging tantrum in the supermarket just to get ANY attention.

And to those uptight conservative social media clowns who decry the (staged) videos of gangs tossing a shop to get "likes" online...take a look at your leader. He's not a good example.

Melania needs to get The Supernanny in ASAP. Someone has a naughty chair waiting for him... after they reinforce it.

You would think!

But I suspect Melania is playing her cards cleverly. Certainly more cleverly than Donny, anyway. All she has to do is stay out of sight and out of the public firing line. Which she has done that rather well, e.g. not even appearing on the family Christmas photographs.

[IMGw=500]https://static.independent.co.uk/2023/12/27/12/Screenshot%202023-12-27%20at%2012.52.10%20PM.png[/IMGw]

Because when Donny goes to jail, or in any way looks like going broke or irresponsibly insane, she probably has a pre-nup to take at least 50% first on her way out the door.

Good lord, what have they been feeding Barron? HGH -laced Pop Tarts?

According to reports, Melania wasn't in the photo because she's "taking care of her ailing mother".

Since this is the Trump family, the chances of that being true are iffy.

I missing which one of those folks in the picture is Eric.

It's funny in a way, because for a brief period Eric pretty much kept quiet and out of the picture, running the trump business in the "blind" trust, while Fredo was busy coking up a storm. At that time, I figured he was going to make a power move on the old man and Fredo, but post-2020 he has been making more appearances and normal service has been resumed.

Not a great source -- and seemingly the only source -- but the New York Post is reporting that Barron trump's presence in the Christmas photo was not by mere chance.
Barron’s appearance is “truly monumental,” according to Melania’s former senior aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who told The Post we can expect to see more of the teen...“I believe we will be seeing more of him now. Nothing happens by chance with Melania.” New York Post news link

I was curious about the gent on the far left. What was William Shatner doing there, I wondered? ;) Turns out to be even stranger. What was Melania's father doing there?

Apparently Fox News had a tarot card reader on to predict Trump’s future.

I’m not sure they were prepared for the prediction!

Apparently Fox News had a tarot card reader on to predict Trump’s future...

Let's end the suspense. ;)
On his primetime show Tuesday, Jesse Watters said he had recently received a “delightful reading” from a fortune teller at a dinner party. “And when I asked her about Trump, she said there’d be a grave injustice this fall, and we may not even have an election,” he said. He introduced Paula Roberts, “The English Psychic,” to give a second opinion on what’s in store for Trump.

“Uh oh,” Watters said. “I mean, I do recognize that I’m at Fox TV,” she prefaced her reading. “A sense of loss,” she predicted. “A sense of loss, but it’s very specific,” she continued stammering, ”no, let me move on. It’s as if he may be thinking more about what he’s lost and not still taking full advantage of what he still has,” she concluded. Watters replied: “That’s a great interpretation, Paula.” Huff Post report link

For what it's worth, I've noticed trump looks even more bleary-eyed than usual. And he's getting careless about coloring his hair.

Well, we skeptics know that:
- Psychics and tarot card readers are bunk
- Fox News is an unreliable source of information

So how does this work? Does there "wrongness" cancel each other out and we get something accurate? Or do they somehow add up to something "super-wrong"?

I'm going with... This is amusing, but not to be treated as reliable in any way. I'm assuming that was the intent behind poking at it, too.

Re: Barron Trump...
He doesn't look too happy in the photo
Maybe he just found out that he has the same name as one of Donald Trump's "alter ego" pseudonyms. (See: Wikipedia)

I do have to wonder how Barron will turn out. The Trump household is definitely not an ideal environment for raising kids (and as we have seen with Don Jr. and Eric, can turn out people who are, well, scumbags.) But the other Trump hell spawn grew up prior to Trump's entry into the 2016 election (where their various crimes did not get the spotlight.) Barron has spent at least part of his teenage years in a white house where Trump's faults are much more wildly known. It would be interesting to see him actually realize "Hmm... maybe I shouldn't follow in my family's footsteps".
ETA: Where was that picture taken? Looks like an Orthodox cathedral or something!
Well, we know god doesn't exist, because if he did, Trump would have burst into flames the moment he set foot in it.

I remember seeing Barron walk down the avenue with his recently elected Dad and his Mom, waving and smiling at the crowds. I had the feeling then that that was the only time he'd every really smiled, and felt kind of bad for him. I don't think he's done much of that since then.

Does anyone find it odd that Viktor Knavs, Melania's father, is in the picture yet Melania is supposedly caring for her ailing mother? Makes more sense for her father to look after his wife while Melania could take a couple hours to be in the Christmas photo with her husband and son. Melania was also not at the Trump New Years's Eve party and neither was Ivanka.

One of the better discussions of the nightmare that is Trump:

The Trump experience can't just be undone—we are a different country now, and we're not not going back to the status quo before his presidency. Plus, watch Trump try to steal the idea of defending democracy from Biden, just like he stole 'fake news' from Hillary. Susan Glasser joins Charlie Sykes today.

He obviously colors his hair but it seems strange to me -- trump seems so vain and focused on appearance -- that he sometimes lets his hair revert to natural and appears in public that way. Yet if someone asked him about it I'm sure he would pretend not to know what they were talking about.

Which of those is supposed to be "Strawberry Blond"?
Only his hairdresser knows for sure.

The hits keep on coming. A report released today by Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee found trump "unconstitutionally profited" while president as his various businesses took in millions of dollars from foreign governments. USA Today reported this morning:
Among the report’s findings and records available to the committee, China made the most payments to Trump’s businesses during his tenure, spending more than $5.5 million at Trump Tower in New York and two of Trump’s hotels in Washington and Las Vegas. House Oversight Democrats specifically accuse Trump of violating the Constitution’s Foreign Emoluments Clause, which prohibits the president of profiting from foreign governments without the approval of Congress. Of course, we already knew all this but now it's been documented.

I'm amused that in the pic on the right you can clearly see his scalp through the swoop. Obviously his hair is getting a lot thinner and it will be more difficult to layer it up. It's only a matter of time before plugs or a toupee.

One of the outstanding rumors surrounding Trump is that he had some sort of scalp surgery decades ago to improve his hairline. (The idea is that the doctors will 'cut out' part of the skin where hair doesn't grow and sew together parts that still have hair.)

Ivana claimed that the pain from the surgery was a factor in Trump committing assault against her (and also threatening the doctor who performed it).

He had the skin with hair on the back of his head transplanted to the top of his head and the top head skin moved to the back. You can see it when the wind blows the combover away from the back of his head.

Not sure how well that transplanted skin with hair is going to age.

I see I was ninja'd. :)
