I attended the Maker Faire, a wonderful Geekfest in Queens, a couple weekends ago with my kids and their friends, and snapped this rather telling photo:

I'm still shocked every time I pass a shopping center near my house that has a Tarot Card reading "store" . How can they pay the rent with just that ole scam? I never see cars in the front.

You really don't need very many clients. Just give a reading about a black aura hanging over the mark's head and convince them it can be removed for $10,000. Rinse and repeat. When things get too hot, move on to the next town.

I'm not quite sure what was actually intended to be advertised - is there something called "face readings?"
