No problems re loading/hanging for the last five hours

One curiosity: the favicon is absent in both my (NN 9.0.0.6) address bar and tabs ( I mentioned this to Terry a while back... maybe he knows why)

I have seen database errors, if I see it again I'll jot down what it said (though vB should generate an email for every DB error, if that option is turned on anyway).

I think the server was not responding for about 30 minutes until about 30 minutes ago. I know it was not me because I checked new posts and no one posted anything for about 30 minutes.

But I do agree everything is much better recently.

I got timeout messages for a bit there, but no database errors. Working now.

I got just minutes ago standard non-vB error message (408/9 server busy)
And every day cca (GMT+1) 17-23h forum is loading slowly.Other times it is good.(23-7 untested)

It happened to me late nite before last, for a few minutes. It would have resulted in a lost post had I not had it saved on Notepad. When I went to post the screen hung as has been described then a couple times simply timed out. This went on for about 10-15 minutes then everything returned to normal.

About half an hour ago - for maybe 2 minutes, I encountered three 'The connection has timed out' errors

When trying to load forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=124603&page=313

I keep getting the following error:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in /home/forumsr/public_html/includes/class_bbcode.php(344) : eval()'d code on line 15​

The previous page - forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=124603&page=312 - loads as per normal

I have a similar problem with it, I assume the stupidity there have finally reached critical mass.

It was my fault! Using (too) many nested quotes, I br0ke teh forum softwhere!!11!!
