NYCCAN & "Vote For Answers New Hampshire"

All that proves is that the NWO has enough resources to bribe and intimidate a 4000-people township into submission.

And pay everyone off so they don't blow the NWO's cover, now and in the future. ;)

An excerpt:

NYCCAN'T is showing its true truthy colours. Most of the time, they've just ranted on about wanting a new investigation, but this shows they are CD nuts through-and-through.

I keep saying this. The only Truthers left, except for We Are Change, are No Planers. All these nuts on the Net, all the private little armies of investigators, all the Truther personalities, they are all No Planers.

That's why Dicky G., Dr. Steve and their engineer pal Tony Z. have lost it all. The legions of Truthers that really care anymore, they're all No Planers. And that's why none of them care about WAC. Saad Ali and the other friends of the terrorists are busy handing out reports about thermite while they ask you to come to their rallies.

I can believe there are millions and millions of Americans who accept this Truther crap. But only a handful take it seriously enough to show up on the street about it. I also believe there are a few dozen loonies crazy enough to murder someone over it. Almost all of them are No Planers and they would just as soon murder you because you said it was planes and thermite at the WTC as they would if you said it was planes and fires.

An excerpt:

The Script

We have three points to make:

1) A third building called World Trade Center Building 7 also collapsed on September 11th. This building housed the Office of Emergency Management’s Emergency Operations Center.

2) The federal government issued a report saying that office fires caused this building to collapse, however, there is overwhelming physical and testimonial evidence that this building was brought down with the use of explosives.

3) In response, 1,100 architects and engineers have signed a petition calling for a new investigation because the federal government’s report is deeply flawed and unscientific.

NYCCAN'T is showing its true truthy colours. Most of the time, they've just ranted on about wanting a new investigation, but this shows they are CD nuts through-and-through.

:con2: I'm sure NYCCAN'T believe in no plane at the Pentagon, but I don't see how the quoted excerpt makes them no-planers for the WTC.

I'm sure they have supporters who are no-planers, but I've never seen any statement that indicates that the organisation promotes those theories.

Meanwhile, NYCCAN'T's "Building What?" campaign is on Day 3.

http://911blogger.com/node/22948

Quotes from Day 2:
________________________________________

"I cannot tell you how happy I am that you are doing this extremely smart campaign... Nothing can be more important at this point. The aides tell me they've been inundated with calls from all over the country."

"She was very nice, she was unaware and said it makes you really think about it ... [Another] said all the council members are aware the calls will be made to them over the next couple of weeks. Said they have not decided what kind of statement to make, though they are all aware of it."

The third comment is hardly positive. The second comment is something you'd expect a politician to say. ;)

From NYCCAN'T's latest email:

"Thank you to everyone who helped make Building What?! Day 4 an amazing success.

"12 down. 39 to go.

"We’ve decided to continue sending email blasts. To make it possible, we kindly ask you to donate to help cover the extra $250 it will cost to send 12 more email blasts, AND, your donation will go toward a new NYC pubic opinion poll. Please donate a manageable amount of $25 - or more if you can manage. The poll will allow us to show the City Council that a majority of New Yorkers support a new investigation, and that a vast majority who've seen footage of Building 7 collapse do not believe office fires were the cause."

It costs $250 to send 12 group emails? :con2:

I guess that must mean the New York City Council members are already convinced that a vast majority of their constituents are exiled Nigerian princes with millions of dollars of offshore assets.

Respectfully,
Myriad

Am I reading this right? After taking 2 years to be completely and utterly humiliated in their last legal challenge, they want to do it again!

Ah - I see - "It costs $250 to send 12 group emails?"

No. No it doesn't. It costs $0.05 to send 12 group emails and the other $249.95 covers "administrative expenses", which the unkinder of us have assumed to be Les Jamieson's mortgage and dinner bill.

What's equally funny is estimating the size of their response to be 10 persons or less.

And I'd be careful about that "pubic" opinion poll.

What's stopping the "truthers" from doing an investigation? I've asked this before but, none of them ever answer.:(

No subpoena power, I'd guess.

they weren't satisfied with copying the creationists, now they are copying the friggin scientologists too?

The Scientology lingo is "supressive person", not "subversive person".

“Building What?!” is a phone and fax campaign aimed at helping the New York City Council become aware of the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7,

Are they actually saying that the City Council is unaware that WTC 7 collapsed?

Botnets doesn't come cheap you know.

Because this is basically what it is, it's spam, Spam, SPAM! Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!

Actually, the emails are, I gather, just to the people on NYCCAN'T's mailing list.

The SPAM is what they're encouraging those list members to do by way of phone and fax to the NYC Council members. :)

NYCCAN'T's "Building What?" campaign is on its final day.

http://www.911blogger.com/node/23121

Rather than contacting three council members, we are contacting only one - the most powerful member of the City Council, the Speaker, Christine Quinn. Our goal is to reach 1,000 phone calls, which will amount to one phone call every 30 seconds. This tactic is not arbitrary - in order to get through to Christine Quinn we need a gigantic show of support, and it only takes two minutes of your time.

Special Instructions ...

Posted on behalf of NYC CAN...

Special Instructions

If you are not an architect or engineer, we ask you to make a phone call to Speaker Quinn's office, rather than sending a fax, because flooding her office with phone calls is a priority.

But here's the catch: the paper trail will be in the letters that NYC CAN and Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth are asking every architect and engineer to fax to the Speaker's office.

The phone calls will capture the Speaker's attention, and the faxes will give her office a hard copy of our message signed by a qualified architectural or engineering expert.

So, if you've been sending faxes for the last three weeks, and you are a NYC CAN supporter but not an architect or engineer, we ask you to switch gears and make that one all-important phone call today. Don't worry, the script is very easy, and you may not have to speak for more than a few seconds.

But, if you are an architect or engineer, we ask you to take 10 minutes to either copy/paste the form letter below, or to compose your own letter to the Speaker. We strongly prefer you to fax your letter, but if you don't have access to a fax machine, you can also email it.

After this email was posted out, another one arrived saying "No one is answering the phone at the Speaker's legislative office and there is no way to leave a message. Not a problem. Please contact her district office".

And then at 911Blogger someone posted this:

I called, and Spaker Quinn's voice mail referred all Blg 7 callers to this # [redacted] or go to www.council.nyc.gov and then scroll to the bottom and choose contact the speaker.

Funnelling the messages off into places where they'll easily be deleted? :)

^^What the lovely and talented Orphia Nay said.

For the short version, though, you can cut to the chase around about page 20 of that thread, and end with:

Waiter, I would like the Fail fricassee, with a side of Fail fries, a Fail salad with Fail dressing, and for dessert, two scoops of frozen Fail, with Fail sauce and Fail sprinkles on top.

- with a decaff latte fail and some fail-flavoured mints, and a doggy-bag for any left-over fail.

"Waiter! Could you please hail
My homebound yellow cab of FAIL.
Driver! Please take me to my pad,
I’m full of FAIL and feeling sad.
As up the brownstone steps I trudge.
My dose of FAIL just will not budge.
Oh! FAIL apartment, let me weep,
Fall on my bed of FAIL and sleep."

From a commenter on one of my posts at SLC:

I'm actually pretty active in New York politics and live in Staten Island. I know all three of the Council Members from the Island. And, somehow, I got on this mailing list. So each time they chose someone that I knew, I forwarded the email to members of their staff and they began to read the talking points back to truthers calling in before they could finish their sentences. But they also told me that they got about 10-15 calls in total.
Not good for the truthers.

Wow! Those are shocking numbers, especially given the supposed huge support for NYC-CAN.

:D Thanks for the heads-up, Pat! Trust you to have the inside scoop!

Yep, it's more evidence that NYCCAN'T got signatures under false pretences. They used to just talk about a 'new investigation' which is why a lot of people signed their petition, but now they're showing their true twoofy colours and claiming explosives and are alienating the non-tinfoilhatters.

Plus, it also shows that twoofers are lazy and won't do anything concrete for their beliefs.

NYCCAN'T took the same low road that Patrtiots For... took. Trying to hide their real agenda in a just-asking-questions coat.

The Patriots Question 911 folks took quotes from anyone who said anything, whether complete batcrap crazy like the guy with the nuclear submarines in the secret underground base in Nevada, or just someone who said something sensible about wanting to know about the intelligence failures that made 911 possible.... And they listed them as believers in a new investigation, but not much more, and nothing even remotely close to what's shown up later in their claims.

I reckon they all know from the outset that they have approximately zero support if they step right up to the microphone and announce their insanity for the world to see. If it wasn't so patently obvious it would be ironic, indeed, that all these people telling us how we're being lied to and conned by the PTB are lying con artists.

{Edit: Results of the Peterborough vote aren't up yet, AFAIK.}

Likewise, nothing about any result in Stoddard, but it's not among the three warrants passed.

I don't think the article ever got on the ballot. According to this list of warrants anyway.

My only question is: How the hell'd they even get 157 votes?

Well, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, None of The Above, and Anybody But each got write-in votes to serve on various committees so I can't say I'm surprised.

I contacted the town of Peterborough this morning. The article went down in flames, 157 to 422.

http://www.townofpeterborough.com/v...ds/{85066A53-1023-402A-8954-08E9333C77DC}.PDF

I did the same thing last night before bed, but you beat me to it while I was sleeping! :p Thanks, though.

Have you contacted Stoddard?

I wonder how long it will take for the "truthers" to update their website to reflect the fact they only got one of their towns to pass (by a very narrow margin with less then 100 votes cast).

Nothing on the NYCCAN'T mailing list at all for ages.

No I haven't. After I found the ballot posted with no question listed I didn't bother. I got an email from the Barnstead assessors office today and they are going to forward the results from that town soon. I could be wrong but, I believe Barnstead is the last town to be heard from.

Cheers, DGM.

Barnstead's vote has been tallied:

Barnstead have had their say:

The following articles failed:

[...]

-Article 29, a petitioned article asking voters to send a resolution to New Hampshire's Congressional delegation calling for a new investigation into the events of Sept. 11, 2001.

http://www.meredithnhnews.com/Artic...ment_proposal_sails_through_in_Barnstead.html

:D

So it looks like the Truthers went 1-for-12 in getting their nonsense passed, and came within two people switching their votes of going 0-for-12. This rates a 9.75 on the Epic brand Failometer.
