Hi folks. I have been a reader of this board for many years, although I rarely post. The reason that I am posting now is that I was recently sent some info concerning a miracle device called a "medbed". More specifically, a Military Medbed, or MMB. The info was sent to me by a friend that supports this device and is in communication with the people that supposedly will be offering the use of them absolutely free!

It is said that the medbed can cure any illness. It can restore missing limbs and even run your age back to make you younger - if you are 80 years then one short session can regress your body to any earlier age you wish.

They are supposedly installing these at many locations across the country. They say you can make an appointment to use one of these, and they put you up for the night, feed you, and in one short session the medbed will cure everything wrong with you, regrow any missing arms or legs, make you younger, and even change your appearance if you wish. All for free.

The medbed uses alien technology to scan the body and uses some types of rays to rebuild all the bad stuff.

The person doing handling the installation and usage of these machines is a woman named Skye Prince. (Her real name is Kerry Ann Thornton). She says she is a human-alien hybrid from the planet Venus.

OK. I know this is a bunch of bunk, but the reason that I am concerned is that the person that contacted me is a very good friend. He is also a retired physician!!! Both of us are old and neither of us is in good health. He has made plans to drive both of us to one of the medbed facilities so we can be "fixed" by one of these devices.
He whole-heartedly believes in this.

When I read the very first one of the things he send me I came to the conclusion that this woman is bat s#@$t crazy.

What do I tell him? I do not want to alienate him. He is a lifelong friend. Of course I can make an excuse to not go with him easy enough, but I am worried about what will happen to him. What can be the motive here?

Any of you have any idea how to handle this? I appreciated any suggestions. Here is a link to one of Skye Princes YouTube web pages:

Seriously, are we to assume that all the Superrich who died in recent years like Sheldon Adelson, with his extremely close ties to top politicians, couldn't swing an afternoon on a medbed?
Rush Limbaugh ? Steve Jobs?
Wouldn't Democrats done everything to put Ruth Bader Ginsburg in one an only let her out to rule in their favor?

If they can't get it, what makes you think that Joe Average would ever get a turn?

Yeah, I know. To beat it all, this woman said that the military medbeds had been in use by the armed forces since the 1950's, and this friend of mine fought in the Viet Nam war. Whey were all these soldiers killed and maimed?

One should realize when she states that she is from Venus that she is off her rocker. Must get really warm in the summer there, huh?

If she is from Venus, why would she want a medbed?
Michael X. Barton, a guy claiming to be in contact with humans who evolved and moved to Venus, has been told by Venusians the secret to eternal health: eat nothing but unprocessed fruit.

Ask her if she knows the guy.

this might keep her busy.

On a related note: Steve Jobs believed in it an gave up his Chemo for the Fruit Treatment - with predictable consequences.

Would it help in your debunking to your friend to point out that this appears to be lifted almost directly from :

Like noting that this could very well be a case of a person or persons astro-turfing a nutty idea taken from popular science fiction just 'for the lulz'?

He's your lifelong friend. You probably know better than us how to raise a touchy subject with him.

My experience of dealing with lifelong friends who get woo disease:

1. If you gently, patiently explain that you're not interested, they get angry with you and you never hear from them again.
2. If you let them blather on every time you see them, they get angry with you and you never hear from them again.
3. If you pretend to go along with their delusion, they get angry with you and you never hear from them again.
4. If you explain how they have been deluded, they get really, really, really angry with you and you never hear from them again.

My recommendation?

Tell them that you're going through a lot of stuff right now, and cut off all contact with them.

Skip directly to the end, and don't deal with the months (or years) of their raving.

Of course I can make an excuse to not go with him easy enough, but I am worried about what will happen to him. What can be the motive here?
The motive is almost certainly money, and what will almost certainly happen to him is that he will pay upfront for this imaginary treatment and then drive to the address given, which will probably be a deserted warehouse somewhere.

If it was me I would simply tell him I'm not interested in going with him because I think it's a scam.

Assuming your friend has been taken in, rather than the distasteful possibility that he's trying to take you in, I'd encourage him to start thinking about doubting it. Maybe start gently with "Doesn't that seem too good to be true?". And "But seriously, isn't that clearly too good to be true?". Moving to "Since it clearly can't be real, what do you suppose they're really up to?".

I wish Search wasn't broken because I know I've seen the Medbeds nonsense discussed before.

Do you know any of his siblings or children? You should contact them and let them know what is going on. They may be able to intervene and talk some sense into him.

A technique that sometimes works:

"Who told you those lies, and why did you believe them."

Sometimes that shocks the brain out of the "accept all woo-woo as Gospel" mode.

That may work better than uproarious laughter, or extreme sniggering my usual responses. I'll try it next time. :hit:

One of the stories told about the medbed's "miraculous" healing properties is that JFK is alive all along, permanently strapped to one of them.

This seems to be connected to the YouTuber linked in the OP.

Immediately hit by the amount of woo woo, including some anti-vax, E4 is basically a screed against vaccines (mind you prioritising the unvaxxed might be a away to pick the low hanging fruit scam wise). N1 is anti FDA, how strange that scammers would be against the FDA.. I3 literally says that if you don't believe it won't work!

I mentions that funding comes from "the military and white hats", the military part is obvious bs, but I suspect anyone turning up for a treatment will (at best) be under huge pressure to become a 'white hat'.

One thing that I find VERY worrying is section E points 1 & 3, it says a sedative will be administered before the treatment and the subject anaesthetised for up to 15 hours for the treatment. Anyone that would willingly let these fantasists drug them almost deserves to wake up in a bath full of ice with their kidneys missing.

I am worried about the “free” aspect of this offer. Clearly it is a scam, but how do the criminals get their money? Do they rob their marks when they arrive? One here suggested they might be organ harvesting, but considering that their marks are probably in very poor health, I think this is unlikely.

Do they rob their marks homes of the marks while away?

My comment about waking up without their kidneys was mostly tongue in cheek & mostly about the advisability of taking drugs from these people. I think the most likely outcome is going to be enormous pressure to become a "white hat" & make a donation.

No, the ‘white hats’ are a QAnon addition to this healing woo - people who stand in opposition to the Cabal. The black hats are the bad guys, Democrats (except still living JFK Jr and even JFK in some cases), the deep state, and the bad military. I’ve never heard of people being asked to become a ‘white hat’ because in their minds they’re already one.

r/QultHeadquarters has been tracking medbeds for about 4 years. ‘Skye Prince’ is a schizophrenic Australian whose real name is Kerrie-Ann Thornton and has had numerous woo schemes in the past. She periodically flounces and deletes all her YouTube videos (nothing to do with them being evidence against her, of course), and seems to live off donations from idiot Floridians.
