When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

There's a fake "SpaceX" thing on YouTube right now with a fake Elon Musk scamming people to send their BitCoins and other cyrptocurrency to the scammers. They are promising to send you back double what you send to them.

They used videos from one of SpaceX's live events. It was at night, though, and it would not have been dark in Texas if it was really live. They used a shot from a camera far from the stage so you couldn't see if Musk's mouth was in-sync with the audio. The audio was a very good impersonation of him.

A QR code on the screen took you to a web site giving you addresses of where to send your cryptocurrency in exchange for double the amount you send in return.

I suspect you'd have to be a bit gullible to actually fall for the scam, but it was better done than the typical refund scams and such. And it fooled YouTube enough to include it in my recommended videos feed.

When I looked at it on my PC, I could see that "SpaceX" only had about 2000 subscribers and that comments were turned off for the live feed. That made it pretty clear that it wasn't the real SpaceX account. When I first saw it on my TV through the Roku app, however, it was more effective because it looked like a real SpaceX live update.

Edit: Apparently it is nothing new (see: https://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=59083.0). But it is the first time I've seen it in my YouTube feed.

How do you know that it's not just Musk running one of his own scams?
